Suicidal thoughts are often misplaced expressions of a fundamental need to let go of the past.

I wrote this song to try and reach out to anyone who has ever felt the need to end their life, and to tell them that they don't need to make the ultimate sacrifice to let go of their past, regardless of how horrific it may have been.
