Nadia Popoff, dj y productora, de Córdoba, Argentina, creció cautivado por la música de su entorno. Con absoluta pasión , comenzó a investigar las mas innovadoras corrientes musicales , escuchando diferentes estilos como el Dub, soul, jazz y funk, que abrio su camino hacia djing y producción. 

También fue influenciada por artistas del underground electrónico como Akufen, Richard Davis, Luomo, Swayzak, The Timewriter, y toda la corriente de sonido mas refinado del Deep Tech-House y Techno Europeo.
A traves de los años y las nuevas plataformas de producción musical, comenzó a producir sus propios tracks. Ya cuenta con muchos release en Europa y Canada. Sellos como Amam, Lucidflow, Under No Illusion, Wet Celler, Fantome de Nuit,Laguna,Cervidae,Gartenhaus y muchos mas.

Su sonido refinado y la técnica como DJ en el mainfloor generan mucho interés y un clima único, con atractivos toques de Dub llenos de energía, tanto en sus dj sets como en sus producciones, para aquellos que buscan el sonido de culto dentro de los géneros House, Dub y Minimal, y sellos como Perlon, Talman, Eastenderz,Mulen entre otros.
Con una vida multifacética entre la producción y los eventos hoy Nadia Popoff es un artista establecida con un presente prometedor en la escena global.

Entre sus mas destacadas actuaciones podemos con tar con la participación del prestigioso evento realizado en el Club de la Union por TheLoft Producciones en la ciudad de Santiago, Chile. Encargada de la apertura del Show donde Anja Schneider, dueña de uno de los mejores sellos de Berlin, Mobilee, dio un excelente show.

This is a long-overdue homage to one of the best house labels ever conceived. At only ten releases long, and almost entirely created by both The Timewriter and Terry Lee Brown Jr., Driftwood hit the mark every single time with some of the smoothest deep house around. 

It took me quite a while to complete the series, not to mention a good amount of money, but the hunt was worth every penny. I've owned the entire series for about six years now, but just now am finally getting around to compiling a mix of only driftwood tracks. 

Total respect goes to the Driftwood label, Jean F. Cochois AKA The Timewriter, Norman Feller AKA Terry Lee Brown Jr., Hakan Lidbo, Robi Uppin, and Jonathan Axelsson. Special thanks goes to my friend Travis Wolf for originally pointing this label out to me back in 2002 and for kicking off an obsessed passion for this Imprint.
