Just magical!  The sunset ride Monday night exceeded all my expectations on the Whomp Wagon... starting from camp and ending up in inner playa with a pide piper style line of bikes in tow!!!  Appreciate if you follow me here as well 😉

The crowd and art cars around us continued to grow and vibes were off the charts.  What a special experience!!!  Extreme gratitutde goes to the Whomp family who made the crisp powerful sound happen and especially to Adil - love you brother!!

It happened randomly in the morning. Our camp was getting people back from the sunrise, and our hard working kitchen crew needed some music to keep the energy alive and fun. This set had no intention but to keep the vibe warm and filled with love to start a new day. There are some questionable and ouch mixing here and there so please forgive me for the imperfection. Wabi Sabi it is.

Through adversity, we find strength. This year was not without its challenges but it was without a doubt the most wonderful opportunity for growth I have ever had the good fortune to experience. Life is a gift and the human connections we make every day are all that will matter in the end. 

This set for me is a celebration of life and newfound inspiration, I sincerely hope you find joy in listening to it. Thank you to all of the incredible artists who continue to inspire me every day. As Matthew Caws said "the weight is a gift". 

I hope this finds you all happy, healthy and loved.

Burning Man has become one of my favorite places in the world. I love the freedom, the individual expression of everyone who attends, and I love giving the gift of music. A lot of people rave about the sunrises there, but I personally love the sunsets. Seeing the transition of day into night, watching the sun go down and all the lights of the playa come out, it brings me so much joy. I had such a blast performing this sunset set this year. I played lots of new music but also some old favorites that fit the atmosphere. Big love to everyone on the Axolotl Art Car for having me and being so kind and welcoming.

Burning Man. The hardest place on earth and yet at the same time somehow the most amazing place on earth. I must have had a little magic playa dust in my pocket on Saturday as I somehow found myself DJing on the beloved Axolotl (BRC’s favorite flaming amphibian on wheels) from the moment the car left camp at 5:15 pm through sunset into the night, whilst parked at the Man on burn night, until YROC took over just before 9:00 pm.  Hands down one of the best experiences of my life and by far the best DJ experience of my life and thus the set absolutely needed to be re-created as it wasn’t captured live.  Thank you to everyone who had a hand in slightly tilting the universe in my favor that day, particularly my favorite three gals on earth, YROC, Jim, Preston, and all the beautiful people at Camp AXO.

This recording is from my sunrise set on the Axolotl art car at Burning Man 2025. The music unfolded with the desert light, moving from the light filled night into the warmth of morning. It’s a reflection of that moment when time slows, and the Playa feels suspended between two worlds.

What stays with me most are the smiles, the energy, the eye contact, and the absence of worry I felt from everyone around me. It was a connection I will never forget.

Thank you and much love to the Axolotl Art Car and 1001 Nights family for giving me the space to express myself in the most magical place on earth.
