'Love Me Too' is the second edition of the electronic compilation from the NY label and there's an exclusive cut from Escobar that really caught our eye. We've managed to secure 'Let Me Love You' as a free download and we hope you're ready for this dance floor ammunition.

The track is as heavy as it is mischievous, intertwining a pounding kick drum with scattered cymbal hits and an acidic bassline. Vocal cuts and sensual groans provide the track with some weight too, making this a jam you shouldn't sleep on.

Brain Rays is part of queer collective, DOOMSCROLL, and Devon art & party crew, Bizarre Rituals. He is also a co-founder of Wrong Music alongside DJ Scotch Egg and Matt Lambert (Roger Species).

Known for his hectic, high pressure output with Quiet, and film soundtrack work (as part of Unknown Horrors) collaborating with director Dean Puckett (The Severed Sun, The Sermon, Satan's Bite) and Rhys Chapman (Wonderkid). As a DJ he has performed all over the world, including Transmediale Festival (Berlin), Today’s Art (Den Haag) and Boomtown Fair, as well as two live sessions at Radio 1's legendary Maida Vale Studios. As a producer he has garnered support from the likes of Mary Anne Hobbs, ETCH, Huw Stephens, Drumskull, Annie Mac, and Nikki Nair.

[Premiere] Brain Rays - Plugs (feat. Quiet) (Acroplane Recordings)

A collection of lost project files; eternalised as forever demos. Made over the span of 2014 to 2017. Heavy, weighty movers with plenty of sub and proto-grime/early Night Slugs Club Constructions influenced through and through. Some with subtle yet blatant samples to the keen ear. Repeated noises have been re-sampled across all tracks. I also absolutely rinsed beeps quite alot.

Calibrated (Shellshock) is a repurposed remix of Krizzli & Jerry Riggs that was never released. The rest of the tracks are straight originals that I will never be able to change or edit. Enjoy them as they are.

Bridging the gap between nervous, metallic jungle and haunting dancehall, ‘Hybris’ intertwines wooden percussions with lost robotic voices, akin to a tree-like nature reclaiming its rights over the ruins of a collapsed electronic civilization, where only a few rusty artifacts struggle to survive amidst an inextricable vegetal maze.

Brussels-based label @malocarecords presents 'SIIIX, Vol.1', a compilation-turned-collaborative EP showcasing a dialogue between HIIIT (fka percussion ensemble Slagwerk Den Haag) and six producers - shimmering between footwork, IDM, UK bass and ambient.

The final result is six wildly different sonic outcomes, from the high-energy workouts of @upsammy’s ‘Embrytone’ to Julian Satorius’s warped rhythms in ‘Klutsel-Klötzli’.

''The Concealed Club Manifesto project pays homage to the mid 2000s underground UK club music scene, an era of music which acts as well of inspiration and creativity for the Nouveau Monica, and has no doubt helped shaped his sound. For the French producer, the UK club scene holds a special allure and mystique, especially since he observed this phenomenon from afar, and was idealized as one of the most “pivotal” moments in underground club culture, making it seem intangible, hence concealed. Nouveau Monica’s sound palette is deeply rooted in the UK scene, which he combines with his own personal musical background. This mid 2000s UK club sound is what the producer defines as his “Golden Era” and the genres created during that time are the building blocks of the Concealed Club Manifesto EP.

The last iteration of “See The Light”comes from none other than Hodge himself. A club tailored cut with a heavy groove, pattered with percussive elements, followed by sun drenched melody and sweltering pads that unleash into a a bellowing bass track, perfectly suited for peak sunset hours at a day rave an unforgiving Soundsystem.''
