This was the first ever sunrise set at DISTRIKT and our first visit to DISTRIKT.
Together with everybody who was present, we had a musical flight that took off in pitch black darkness and soared into the rising orange sun. It was a unique experience and certainly one we’ll never forget. Thank you for dancing and sharing this moment together!

In honor of releasing our 40th live mix from our Desert Hearts Festival, we couldn't be happier to share with you the most talked about set in the history of DH. Everything we knew about live House & Techno was completely blown away during this set as Rodriguez Jr. gave us the performance of a life time. Described by him as "One of the best parties he's ever played", the vibe was on another level, the music was through the roof, and his performance had everyone in a musical frenzy. We all had a feeling that Rodriguez Jr. was going to be the highlight of our Desert Hearts Spring Festival, but we had no idea that he was about to set the bar for every DJ & Performer at our festival moving forward. This was my first trip to the Joshua Tree Music Festival.  It definitely lived up to and exceeded any expectations I may have had.  The beautiful community of music enthusiasts it attracted was second to none.  They came with me wherever I went musically.  There's nothing like being physically present, but I'm trusting some of the magic from that beautiful evening under stars will translate via this recording into something that will leave your soul smiling.
