Carl Cox & Commix remix Radio Slave’s ‘Stay Out All Night’

Initially released in 2020 via his own Rekids, ‘Stay Out All Night’ is one of Radio Slave’s biggest tracks todate, alongside timeless cuts such as ‘Grindhouse’, ‘Don’t Stop No Sleep’, and ‘Another Club’. Recruiting Carl Cox & Commix for remix duties, ‘Stay Out All Night (Remixes)’ sees two varied dancefloor-focused revisions drop this February on 12”.

Leading the pack, Carl Cox steps up to the plate fresh from the release of his ‘Oh yes, oh yes!’ book. The People’s Choice delivers a lively 4/4 interpretation, flipping the syncopated breaks of the original into astomping blend of house and techno destined for dancefloor decimation.

Next in the line of a celebratory summer for ‘Axtone Presents’, comes infamous French-house DJ and producer, Bob Sinclar. Being one of house music’s most influential artists, Bob first left his touch on Axwell and Axtone back in 2005, remixing Axwell’s summer anthem, ‘Watch The Sunrise’. With international hits such as: ‘I Feel For You’, ’What A Wonderful World’, ‘Love Generation’ and ‘World Hold On (Children of the Sky)’, Bob has become a household name to many. Bob’s appetite hasn’t waned, recently launching ‘Paris By Night’, a back to basics concept that focuses on the club orientated music that he first fell in love with.
 
Kicking off the podcast with friends Axwell and Ron Carroll in ‘What A Wonderful World’, Bob pays additional homage to the past, featuring artists such as Stardust, The Bucketheads and Prince. After a subtle swipe at what is cleverly referred to as “noise”, Bob highlights his summer plans in Ibiza, hinting as to what fans can expect to hear over the coming months.

Progressing further into it’s history, ‘Axtone Presents’ continues to bring some of the world’s most influential artists onto the airwaves, with Bob Sinclar being it’s biggest feature yet. Just don’t forget, Bob Sinclar is Axwell’s little giraffe...

A third of Hessle Audio, alongside Ben UFO and Pearson Sound, Pangaea has been an essential fixture of the electronic music scene for over a decade. Whether through releases on Hessle’s influential imprint, or as a distinctive and celebrated DJ in his own right - Pangaea is undoubtedly a huge player in shaping the characteristic UK club sound.

Similarly as influential a character at Dimensions, Pangaea has appeared at every single festival since our inception in 2012. Over the years, Hessle’s presence has grown to be a crucial part of the Dimensions experience -  through their boat parties to memorable Moat takeovers. With Medallion Man having no laptop or records, and consequently no ready tunes, after a messy weekend in Leeds, the show took a slightly different format with the interview section kicking off the show. It worked a treat, leading to an incredibly intriguing chat.

Darwin's In Session Mix presents all the kaleidoscopic facets of her sets, beginning with multidimensional matrix-like space sounds and slowly moving into her groove of deep UK garage before floating into break beats and infectious dancefloor cuts. 

Water bubble textures and acidic noises make an appearance before she ends with jacking footwork beats, setting you in the middle of the jungle.

Here she showcases an array of sonic explorations, a focus that has made her one of the key guiding forces in the underground scene today.

In Session: Darwin

Back in August we hosted a Lab NYC session with Martyn and DJ Voices. In their first ever b2b set, they showcased a dazzling array of sounds and styles in one of our favourite Labs of the year.

Before the Lab took place however, the two played a warm-up set that was just too good not to share. Focusing on deeper, darker and more bass-heavy frequencies, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the pair had been playing together for years.
