It’s team time again as we issue yet another huge collaborative effort from some of the scenes most accomplished producers and biggest names.

DIS070 draws together the collective powerhouse force of DLR, Hydro, Villem, Fields, Mako and Linden over two tracks to provide an outing of gigantic proportion, individually each producer within their own right is more than capable of delivering the goods in solo work mode, so imagine the results you would get from locking them all up in a dark studio room together for hours on end to channel their combined genius!

Well the result of that scenario is right here and is everything and more you may expect it to be. “The Formula” sees DLR, Hydro, Villem & Mako in combination for an effort that is nothing short of sublime, each bringing their own finely tuned skillset to the table in perfect compliment to each others skills whilst at the same time adding their own perfect measure of individual ingredients to produce a near perfect recipe. This one has already had the Friction seal of approval and thus has been aired twice to date on his weekly BBC Radio 1 show.

The flip sees Villem, Linden, Fields & Mako jump in together for “Saturate” 
This time the result is a massive heavyweight roller underpinned with a frightening amount of low-end grunt.  The perfect compliment to the A-Side and a devastating track for any dance floor regular.

RAICA applies an industrious ethic, spawning with repeated fuzz among metallic stringent rasps, a plunging side attack from brutally thudding booms resonating to great rapport. 

Getting extracted to the chasm of pondering thought we behold a constant amalgamation of rigorous funk, assimilating and deluded in hypnotic home brewed fare.

Rustic bump charms alongside furious stabs of crunched claps and piercing hats, syncopation provides a worthy opponent for Chloe’s harrowing way of challenging her own painstaking foray into darkness & light.

Building an otherworldly series of seemingly freshly painted vibrant canvases, being molded by natural accumulating permissions, the performance becomes synthetically triumphant, and mystically bound in shrouds of contemplating rigour.

Born out of the Moscow underground, Anton is a master craftsman when it comes to dubbed out house and techno. Underground Quality label boss and all round legend, Jus Ed, unearthed him back in 2008 and since then Anton has gained a reputation as being one of the most prolific yet mysterious producers out there. As well as providing us with such divine productions, Anton also runs his own label, Ethereal Sound, which showcases him and a variety of other European underground gems. We highly recommend you check it out! Anyways, enjoy this little beauty.

Beginning life at XOYO, i-D Mix has been running for over one year now. Booking an eclectic roster of electronic talent, from techno to house and occasionally ambient the event now spreads its wings and descends on the well rested green fields of Glastonbury. Collaborating with ethical event organisers and accessories label Lovebullets our 15 hour day AM to AM closing party features Jamie Jones, Craig Richards, Lee Foss, Richy Ahmed, Rudimental, Discloure, Kidnap Kid and My Nu Leng. Shout-outs to Kubicle and Blackbutter. Staged within the impressively constructed, Lovebullets club house, interactive dancefloor walls and bars entirely constructed from reused bullets feature in the venue. Come rain or shine nothing can come in between this being the best weekender of the year. 

Headlining Mays i-D Mix event at XOYO Lee Foss played an outstanding set to a packed out room. Missed the music, catch it again here.
