"With this In Session mix, I tried to turn it upside down and showcase the songs in a more dance-related context - it’s quite the journey through all kinds of different BPMs. I was eager to include some of my current favourite artists like Fred again.., Overmono, Weval, and Susso. I smuggled an evergreen in there from my all-time favourite electronic band Mount Kimbie, and it contains an exclusive remix I did for my former guitarist Long Tall Jefferson alongside a lot of tracks from the ‘Stones & Geysers’ album."

Bio: "Stemming from a partnership with two decades of DJ experience behind them, Wild Dark takes on contemporary songwriting and gives it a unique, thoughtful approach using a wide spectrum of electronic music to tell a story. The duo, comprised of the NYC based brothers Corey & Ryan Negrin, stray from cold digital samples in favor of a warm, organic approach to writing music. We go back in time for 10 years, to a well known club in Berlin, where I celebrated the 10 Years Anniversary of my label CLR, and guess what - also played for 10 hours. Can´t believe that this is already 10 years ago really. Still kind of remember that night/day very well, especially the magic moments during the party and also especially at the end, when I played that DJ Hell track. With me on that night playing were Traversable Wormhole, @sanhajimastering Brian Sanhaji, @tommyfourseven_47 and @monoloc_official  until I finished off the night/day with my closing set. These are memories that are ingrained in my brain and I surely hope we can soon do this again. So this week it´s the fourth hour of this set. All the rest will be coming on a weekly basis, as you all know by now I guess. Club Matryoshka and CTM came together for CTM's 22nd festival edition to revisit the Alpha Lebbeus world, 40 years after we first explored the expansive planet together. With this follow-up collaboration, Club Matryoshka expanded on this unique Minecraft world, together with a story-based gameplay narrative co-developed with artist collective Children of Cyberspace. The six-hour journey was soundtracked by live and DJ sets created by a diverse group of emerging artists from around the globe, curated in a collaborative spirit by Club Matryoshka and CTM.

Founded in 2019, Club Matryoshka is an international virtual venue, home and safe haven to underground and unorthodox music mutants. Based in the Philippines and built in Minecraft, Club Matryoshka was founded and developed by a community of gamers, artists, and musicians. similarobjects, dot.jaime, cavill, ahju$$i, JohnPope, and Maengo69 felt a lack of freedom and acceptance in club scenes, both in Manila and abroad, and sought alternative avenues for sharing their work and finding community. The club opened in July 2019, barely a year before COVID-19 would bring in-person events and nightlife to a halt.
