On my recent tour of Asia my set at Bali's famous KU DE TA was recorded.
This is part one of a two part mix and as its been a while since I posted a live session so I thought the time was right, this is also a DL.

Im very excited about my upcoming tour and returning to Europe and the UK and my new residency with Defected at BoOom Ibiza.

Second edition of my special “Fingerman ♥'s” DJ mixes showcasing on individual artists, edits and record labels. This one is a homage to Greg Wilson, one of the main reasons for myself getting back into disco again over 10 years ago and inspiring me to take up editing and producing in the first place. I never normally record the audience in my mixes, but, for some strange reason, there seems to have been a mic active on my device picking up the crowd. My aversion to this is that, apart from the general ambience of the room, it also picks up people chatting in or around the booth, especially in a small compact space like we were in. I hope this isn’t distracting, but, weighing things up, it was such a good day, and its so long since I’ve uploaded a mix to SoundCloud, that I think it’s only right to share regardless.

It was a fortunate coincidence that lead to Wankelmuts breakthrough back in 2011. It was his birthday and the Berlin DJ added his touch to his bootleg remix of Asaf Avidan ‚Reckoning Song (One Day)‘. As most of you already know the title conquered the charts by storm. It reached double plain status in Germany, was placed number one of Singe Charts in eight European countries, was the most downloaded track of Beatport 2012 and was played more then 150 million times on YouTube. Today we have him in the mix for you as he will be playing Free Your Mind Festival June 6.

There's The Mix Pt. 5 - Deeply Dippy Eggs

Ahoy! Thanks for listening to my latest mixtape called Zeevonk, which is the Dutch word for bioluminescent lights in the sea (which looks amazing as you can see in the artwork). I witnessed this natural phenomenon myself in the time when I was living on Curacao, a small island in the Dutch Caribbean for six months. While making this mix, I've tried to take myself back to that time and find the perfect tunes for that moment, looking at the blue glowing Caribbean sea.

"Recorded in May 2019 at the FAC 51 The Haçienda party, held at the stunning Albert Hall in Manchester. I've played a number of Haçienda events in recent years, but this was undoubtedly the best environment, with the venue full by the time I went on at 10pm. I really enjoy this type of scenario where I can build things up from scratch, starting off around 100bpm and gradually increasing the tempo so the next DJ, in this case Chez Damier, is teed up to transition into the House vibe more associated with The Haçienda. This gave me the opportunity to illustrate some of the other tracks that were played and loved at the club down the years. "
