We are over the moon to be welcoming progressive artists NILA and Luis Damora to the onedotsixtwo family, with their killer first collaboration together under an EP titled Pure State. This EP contents 2 tracks with the first one titled Pure State and its companion titled Safe From Harm. Each artists have been steadily on the rise over the past years, delivering some amazing tracks and remixes for prestigious labels such as Vapour Recordings, Mango Alley & Forensic to name a few. Both tracks are slamming peak time belters that ooze energy, gritty FX and some proper low end grunt and really showcases their talents and abilities. Early support on these from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Tripswitch, Ezequiel Arias, DJ Ruby, Martin Fredes & Steve Marx and with that we are can't wait for you to hear these and play them.

With his third Release of the Bella Avgvsta series, Daniel Bortz shows that Augsburg offers more then its famous Puppet Theater.
The opener “Don’t Forget Your Sword” provides crystal clear Techno, discreetly interrupted by accented fades of an exotic theme.
With rolling Dub sequences, decent recurring swishes and a peaceful break “Jump In The Water” describes the impression to dive into the humid element.
“Lonely Soldier” then provides more power again. The basic theme which is dominated by a minor tone displays an inner unrest created by the unknown that is daily lurking out there for us.
The beautiful deep Dub-Track “Hide From The Sun” finally plays with the change of shimmering heat and chilly shadow. Who does not know the feeling on a hot Open-Air-Afternoon to take an occasional time-out from the merciless burning sun.
Overall this is the most personal and deeply emotional Release and as we think a worthy highlight and conclusion for the Bella Avgvsta series.

Michael Mayer's new album '&' sees him collaborate with some of the planet's leading musicians and of course a whole lot of friends. The 12 track LP features tracks with Roman Flügel, Agoria, Kölsch​, Miss Kittin and Barnt. His collaboration with Barnt is a trippy, majestic number that's drenched in voodoo tones and there's now a remix package to accompany the track.

Patrice Baumel has put his own spin on 'Und Da Stehen Fremde Menschen​' but here we concentrate on UK favourite, Kowton's edit. As expected the Livity Sound don has stripped everything back and turned the suspense into structure, with steely tones and a demonic 4/4 running through its core.

Isolée’s Arrival

When three people run a label together it is exceptionally rare to find a positive unified opinion of a record upon first listen. When Isolée sent his "Mangroove" EP to Maeve, this was in fact what happened. But it is Isolée after all....

Mangroove came about last summer when The Drifter happened to catch Isolée's live set at a festival in Switzerland. Instantly blown away by the A side "Pisco" he was determined to find out what it was and if it was to be released. After chatting, Isolée suggested that he would send "Pisco" along with a couple of other "demos" to Maeve and a few days later the EP was happening.

Isolée has created some of the most important and beautiful records of our generation and has being a huge influence on what we do, thus we are incredibly excited and humbled to release his work.

This three track EP shows several different sides of the Frankfurt native, from the A-side dance floor catalyst that is "Pisco" to the deeper dubbier B-sides of "L5 Syndrome" and "Mangrove". This is the perfect record to mark our tenth release.

Mano Le Tough Returns to Maeve

Mano Le Tough is set to release his second 12inch on Maeve, the label he cofounded with Baikal and The Drifter in 2012. The label was born from the idea to release hypnotic dancefloor dedicated music, and this release certainly stays true to that. 

Big words from the small mouth arrives on the A side of Maeve 11 with quite the clatter. Searing synth jams scatter over a brooding kick/sub bass combo. The sharp crisp percussion drives the track forward all the time, while various bleets, squeals and swells develop throughout giving the track a raw rave vibe. 

Arganol on the flip is a trippy affair. Touching 9 mins long, this track feels like Mano Le Tough right from the outset, patient in its approach whilst slowly telling the listener its story. The narrative unravels through woozy melodies and melancholic cameos culminating in a burst of movement and energy perfect for the wee hours of a dancefloor.
