Mixmag x Edmwarriors | Make It Contest

It is with pride that MAISON CLOSE RECORDS announces the release of this first EP Unseen [MCR001]
with UNREALNUMBERS, marking the beginning of a long series of EPs with only one artist.
UNREALNUMBERS is a rising south korean talent based in Seoul. It was in London, the city where
he grew up, that he met the underground techno scene. His industrial music production, EBM and
noise stood out early during his schooling. In 2014, he started to draw inspiration from his various trips
between London and Berlin to assert his sound design. The producer also manages his own label «UN
LABEL CORP», aiming for raw power on the dance floor as well as a dark and dystopian aesthetic.

To accompany UNREALNUMBERS productions, two artists are also present on this release as remixers:
Varya Karpova; the new russian talent of the young agency Core Agency revealed on the Possession
label in 2020 and Lacchesi; co-founder of the Maison Close Records label.
[MCR001] is the promise of an obscure techno with influences from Berlin, London and Seoul.

UNREALNUMBERS - Unseen [premiere]

We are thrilled to present the very first edition of our VA series, featuring four of our favorites producers in the scene: Palma, bw, Stier and Juan Bermudez. An ode to the dancefloor, delivered in form of solid grooves, sexy basslines and colorful synths.

For Twice Infinity’s second solo release, the London and Geneva-based DJ and producer GFX – one of the most active newcomers of the past years – makes his vinyl debut with the aptly named Vibing The Groove EP. His three original tracks span a wide array of playful, groovy, punching and driving techno that perfectly showcase GFX’s musical vision for the near future and mark a preliminary goal in his search for a unique musical expression since his release debut in 2020.

The B-side accompanies two remixes by equally exciting members of the next generation of producers; while the approach by Ecuadorian techno activist Hioll is more to the point and made straight up for peak time sets, Manchester-based trance wunderkind Faster Horses explores his
not so well know passion for funky and stepping contemporary techno.
