Originally released in 2002, 'The Red EP' was a bold fusion of techno and garage from the mind of @mrartwork. Drawing from his Grain techno project and the UKG sound he championed for years, this release laid the groundwork for what the world would soon call dubstep.

'Ixona' is the second LP from Chicago composer Conor Mackey under his @lynyn alias on @sooperrecords. Crafted primarily with hardware, Lynyn's instrumental compositions draw on dub-techno, drum and bass, and acid.

As intricate breakbeats skitter through granular textures and pointillist swarms, 'Ixona' is both  vastly spacious and startlingly intimate. On 'Light Morph', wistful voices list against jagged breaks.
