Born and raised in the bluegrass state of Kentucky, Caleb Cornett, aka Amtrac, is one of the most diverse young artists in America’s underground house scene at the moment. Known for shipping that effortless, dancefloor-calibrated deep house sound that's been dominating the club scene of late, Amtrac has become known for his prolific production and solid DJ sets. In a few short years he's already dropped a full-length album, a handful of EPs, scores of singles and has established himself as a highly sought after remixer, with some tight reworkings of GotSome’s ‘Bassline’, Duke Dumont’s ‘Need U 100%’ and even some lush romantic deep cuts of Alesso and Axwell Λ Ingrosso bangers.

We’ve got an exclusive recut of his latest track ‘Those Days’, a deep, driving housey number with a ripping bassline and a classy sample from Biggie’s ‘Every Struggle’.

'Get Real' is the new project from legendary producers, Green Velvet & Claude VonStroke.
The pair, hailing from Chicago and Detroit, headed out on the road together for a string of shows at the tail end of 2015. Get Real was born and VonStroke was soon heading to Green Velvet’s Chicago studio to work on new music.  The result of that trip is the debut Get Real EP featuring two slices of amazing future funk from two creative giants.

Kyle Watson, the South African producer who has been wrecking the dancefloor like a one-man demolition crew, swings back around for round two with This Ain’t Bristol. After absolutely crushing it with his Watermelons / Fly With Me EP from last year, he brings the same wobbly edge on his second appearance, 'Rhinoceros,' a from-the-wild two-tracker that’s sure to rattle a few cages. Living on the flip is “The Cone,” which sees Watson getting phenomenally wavy with oscillating basslines that slink and slide beneath silky-smooth arpeggs and a seemingly satisfied-to-the-core vocal sample.

Track of the Day: Kyle Watson “The Cone”

After a year filled with lots of collaborations and remixes, Claude VonStroke drops his solo EP, “Slink.” The track features a twisted, funky double bassline highlighted by a catchy original vocal that sounds like it could have come from an 80s female rapper.

What started out as a demo made for his private fan club a few months ago, "I'm Solo" has taken on a whole new meaning in recent weeks. Claude VonStroke delivers a timely in-house groover with a signature vocal for Pandemic living. The track goes along with a thematic music video shot, edited and starring Claude VonStroke by himself. The incredible art by Birdcap also drives the vibe home, where everyone is now living 24/7.
