@aksportsdj returns to her @club_madhouse imprint with a new four-track EP, 'TIMELINE SHIFT' - a melting pot of rave, techno, trance, and breakbeat.

Hard techno cut 'HELLRAISER' combines the furious energy of early Prodigy tracks with a hard, ripping bassline. "I wrote these lyrics thinking about the iconic Keith Flint, forever in our hearts and on the dancefloor," AK SPORTS explains.

A nod to the after-hours of the past, @hi_mija writes a nostalgic tribute to weekends spent on an unflagging dancefloor with an hour of throwbacks cruising through house, disco edits and techno mutations that span nearly three decades of dance music history. 

From the sunny cuts of Paul Johnson to Jeff Mills’ metallic “The Bells,” the set stitches together the ecstatic weirdness of Justice, the body-heat of Soulwax's “Work It" remix, and the sweat-strewn floor fillers of Todd Terry and Jamie 3:26. What emerges is both archival and forward-leaning: a collision of crate-dug classics, remixed gems, and underground anthems that turn the room into a time-bending continuum. Equal parts hedonism and history lesson from the 90s through the 2010s.

London born- and Stockholm-based DJ and producer DJ Rawel teams up with co-label boss Hugo Nyreau for a energy filled single release. The collaboration formed from a deep admiration and love for the sounds of classic, groove-centric, techno from the turn of the millennia. Inspired by the likes of Grain, Gaetano Parisio, Jeff Mills and Leod — DJ Rawel and Hugo Nyreau provides a fun, peak-time track sprawling with rhythm.

For his first EP, What I Need, Blanc Soleil delivers a personal and already very assertive vision of his sound identity. Composed in Brest, the project draws on his recent emotions and the energy of the UK clubs that have left their mark on him. The four tracks explore broken techno with jungle accents, where percussive textures intersect with melodic pads and dance sounds. Between raw energy and attention to detail, Blanc Soleil lays the foundations for a hybrid and expressive signature, somewhere between rave intensity and club emotion.The project is also revisited through three distinct remixes, each bringing a different state of mind: a UKG-infused version by the Australian producer Wax Thief, a high-energy closing banger signed by Noge, and a more electro-driven interpretation from J.Strongrock.

“This last track on the EP is the most melodic and positive energy-filled on the project. The idea was to create a track that reflects who I am and is also a little more mainstream, with the aim of making this first EP accessible to as many people as possible. It has a Mall Grab-style dance vibe, which means the track can be played both outdoors and in the middle of the evening.”

HNGVR - Take Me Away [Premiere]

American producer and Discwoman member DJ Haram is back with her latest release with the legendary Hyperdub, out on 05/07/19. 

The EP titled 'Grace' is an important body of work for Haram. Written after a family tragedy Haram brings fantasy and colour to this in-between place, and Grace is the soundtrack. Candle Light features 700 Bliss, Haram's project with Philadelphia rapper, poet and activist Moor Mother.
