Fresh from a stellar North American tour and a two track EP for Saved Records, Mark Fanciulli has been creating more magic in the studio once again. His latest tune, “High” will be given away for free via Mark’s Facebook and Soundcloud pages. It’s a thick wad of peak-time house that burns with a relentless energy. Built around an infectiously groovy bassline, driving 4/4s and a subtle sense of funk, “High” is the latest killer club workout to emerge from Mark’s studio.

As well as a fist-pump inducing tour, Basement Jaxx will drop a remix EP of their new single on November 24 and as well as a Ninetoes edit, there's a particularly bumping rework by Catz N Dogz.

The Dirtybird regulars have applied their trademark flare to 'Rock This Road' and the cut is bursting at the seams with basslines that are up to no good. Guaranteed to get any rave grooving, this is a remix we've had on repeat. Watch out.

Kevin Over strikes back on Noir Music after the very popular “Jodye” and “Jus A” from his 2 recent Eps on the label. We changed the dynamics a little and included remixes of previously released tracks alongside the brand new tracks from Kevin Over.
And well..... here's another incredible EP from the German producer and now with remixes of “Jack Back” by Marc DePulse and “When Anger grows” by Frag Maddin.

Riva Starr – Raw Edits Vol 1

Renowned for his ability to bring creativity and flair to his wild remixes, edits and re-edits, Riva Starr is a hugely welcome new addition into the Saved fold. Bringing a special collection of new edits, the producer displays the kind of dexterity that has made him so impossible to pigeonhole over the last decade.

First up, Riva delivers a driving and energetic mashup of DJ ROLAND CLARK’s “The First Time” and Paul C & Paolo Martini’s “Take Some Time.” Frenetic percussion in the top end and futuristic FXs create a party-focused pace as the dubby atmospheres and pumping beats add the power and momentum. The ghetto-funk vocal adds another dimension to make this Riva’s own personal homage to the history of house music. The raw edit of “Chasing Autumns” by Taras Van De Voorde continues that exploration further, tapping into a unique mix of classic sounding house with rich piano chords and emotive strings; and a modern, raw sounding warehouse energy that burns and stomps away underneath.

Taking things into a much deeper hue, Riva with his colourful edit of Luca Morris’ “Play By Play.” Built around subtly shifting melodies, a deep, rolling bassline and tumbling drums, the track shuffles forward with bags of personality and charisma. Intoxicating and heady, this one will keep heads down whilst infiltrating the feet. Riva’s edit of Rino Cerrone & Flavio Diaz’s “Extraordinary Wiring” is a dizzying, head-spinning workout that swirls and shakes with an unsteadying disposition. Funky drums interplay with highly distorted synths and mechanical sounding basslines to create a sound that is at once playful, addictive and unstoppable.

Normally I'll spread my studio time out, but at the time, I had so many ideas going through my head, I had to get them down. As soon as I'd finished one track, I'd open up a blank screen on Ableton and literally get going straight away again. I wanted to give the EP a bit of scope, so Figo's Nose was a lot of nerding around on my hardware and creating something a little more electronic than normal. Snatchy and Wired are more my usual kind of sound, and I made Back On Track a real 'head down' kind of track. Dale’s discography has also become a ‘Who’s who’ of labels, having released music on label heavyweights like Objektivity, VIVa Music, Noir, Suara and Get Physical. As well as having tracks feature on compilations for Richie Hawtin’s Minus, Defected and Ministry Of Sound.

Jay Lumen - Get Ready (Original Mix) Low Quality Preview

A-side ‘Tone Music’ builds with a melodic structure of electronic droplets as rattling percussion does the driving. A n injection of techno wonk stabs blended with pitched down RnB sampling, ‘Tone Music’ is a sonic patchwork of futuristic beams and bleeps, synth shards, and shakers.
Moving into crackling, dubby terrain, ‘Lo To Hi’ is a spooky affair with solid claps and a nifty little bassline groove. As warped vocal snippets float into the atmosphere, the swirling pads serve to envelop the senses and build a sense of tension and drama up to the break.
In keeping with the slower vein and bathed in warm, ethereal pads, ‘Doldrums’ builds with distorted synth melodies and chopped up vox until the rise of drums, and unexpected drop of heavy bassline throb along with subtle twists of acid swerve into the mix.
