Introducing Mellon, Maksim Khudiakov, a Russian producer now based is Belgrade whose work draws on Dub, Jazz and classic Hip Hop influences.  Mellon’s latest EP, Brutalism, sees these influences gathered and shaped by personal touches; atmospheric textures and dextrous rhythms sit across 4 tracks that balance playfulness and brutality. The release marks another potent step forward for Sudo Sound and Mellons impressive Discographies. 

Also included in this release is a collaboration between Mellon and Dub Head. Hailing from Kiev, Ukraine, Vitalii, known as Dub Head, is a founder of Cybernetic crew with releases on Transparent Audio, Sofa Sound, Sauce Recordings & Dispatch; he is devoted to creating a unique and captivating sound in the world of Drum and Bass and beyond. His link-up on Mellons latest project brings 'Allergy' to the release, another example of why Dub Head remains one of the front runners in the scene.

Brighton-born, Bristol-based DJ and producer @Jook is back on Sector 7 with a weighty four-tracker titled ‘Flying Nimbus’.

Teased during @Boofy and @Hi5ghost’s recent Boiler Room set (You clocked the tee right? We know you did), the EP is Jook’s most expansive, and explorative outing yet as he interweaves his signature moody, system-rumbling sound with sweeter, more melodic motifs. 

Today we’re premiering EP closer and certified earworm ‘Bittersweet’, a spacey, hybrid cut that strikes the balance between saccharine and stone, stone-cold. 

Sector 7 will release ‘Flying Nimbus’ on April 28.
