Two artists who have carved out their own niche in todays techno universe join forces for their first collaborative full length. Ten tracks across two vinyls demonstrate the unique synergy between these two friends. In their collaboration they each focus on their own expertise, combining best of both worlds. Amandra on drums and Mattheis on synths - creating overlapping, constantly shifting patterns, like an endlessly captivating moire effect as result. Artwork print by Ruben Uvez. Hilltown Disco is a Dundee-based record label and collective, founded in early 2017, specialising in playing host to distorted electro sounds.

As a label they have worked with artists such as Chris Moss Acid, Datawave, Ole Mic Odd, PRZ, Larionov & Sheepray, St. Theodore, Violet, and a host of other majorly talented acts over the years.

As a DJ collective, headed by Ben Rothes and Matt HDC, the crew learnt their trade in Dundee's legendary Reading Rooms nightclub, leading to headlining clubs and bars across the UK.

@all-centre-504822953 welcomes London-based artist @borderlandstate to the label. Usually found working with his production partner @thebestkisserinla for the likes of Exit, T T and Peder Mannerfelt Productions, ‘Resonant Advisor’ sees the artist step out for his debut solo release.

The title-track focuses itself around a temperamental modulated bassline that lays the foundation for dark muffled melodies. Spaced out percussion flitters around the soundscape, cemented by a gritty drum beat which leads the whole track.
