Our beloved @Petey-Clicks brings Night Bass his ‘Petey’s Clique’ EP. Australian legends of the bass-house scene, @JordanBurns & @NOYmusicau, team up to bring @NightBassRecords a menacing, 3-tracker release titled the ‘Like Me’ EP. Ominously-flavored title track ‘Like Me’ builds up haunting vocals and fuzzy synths before descending into a multitude of expertly-programmed, driving bassline drops. A sense of journey arises through the myriad of layers presented in ‘Movin’, whose deeply-grooved bassline and incoherent vocals move systematically through mischievous padlines, high-energy buildups and filthy bass drops, all before transcending into a refreshingly sweet breakdown. The mid-tempo swagger of the dark and twisted ‘None Of It’s Real’ gives way to juicy synthwork and frantic bass-house rhythms that round off this perfectly sinister package.

Will Saul, DJ/Producer and Aus Music label head primes the 150th release for the longstanding British label with a stellar cover of the 1990 seminal techno record of the same name by Yolanda on legendary label Underground Resistance.

With the original record being one of Saul's all time favorites and UR being a constant source of inspiration it was beyond a dream to get his version fully approved by Mike Banks to celebrate the landmark anniversary. Saul then worked with Berlin based vocalist Gilli.jpg - who has recently worked with Cinthie - to re-vocal Yolanda’s song.
