Marco Bailey's MATERIA brought a new generation of party to the magical island of Ibiza this summer, with a focus on raw underground techno, Marco's vision for his first season at Vista Club Ibiza every Sunday brought top techno artists from all over the world.

After the successful release of XL1, which acted as a preview to what we could have expected this summer, Marco is honored to present the release of #MATERIA XL2 on MB Elektronics Recordings - and it provides a powerful collection of 21 tracks that were prominent throughout the unforgettable season at MATERIA.

Mixed down by Marco himself into a sublime set, it has a selection of tracks from MBR Limited/MB Elektronics regulars and also gigantic guests including Joachim Spieth, Nima Khak, Dany Rodriguez, Mikael Jonasson, Alex Bau, Shlomi Aber, Blawan, Sterac, Shifted, UVB, Marcel Fengler, Flug (Official), Sigha, Persuader, Soolee, Moteka, Yotam Avni, Alfredo Mazzilli and last but not least Marco Bailey himself with "Gravity Drag" from his forthcoming EP due out later this year on MBR LTD

He Is The Voice I Hear’ is my first all new work since “Lady Of Sorrows.” It’s been a long journey from there to here. I’m so thrilled to continue the story and finally realize my dream of bringing together an ensemble of live musicians.

This record was a joy to create with my engineering and production partner, Rupert Murray, Davide Rossi on strings and Christoforo LaBarbera on keys. The vinyl was mastered and cut by Tim Xavier for Manmade Mastering.  We’ve also put some special touches into the design of the record itself. 

Incredible thanks to Adam Rowe, Andrew Gordon, Jake Nelson and everyone that helped make this record possible at all.

Arriving as the first release of the new sublabel series FIGURE JAMS, this split EP by Fabrizio Lapiana and Amotik serves not only as a crafty cut in its own right but also showcases a particular type of package, which we will be facilitating from now on.

The A-side is taken up by a pair of Lapiana‘s irresistably dense grooves that unmistakebly tread in the footsteps of his homeland‘s highly emotional techno, unafraid of big melodies but also injecting just the right amount of twisted acid to set the floor ablaze.

This sense of grandeur and space is also reflected in the work of fast-rising producer Amotik. Painting with his very own colours as an equally epic scenery, its bleak and post-apocalyptic landscape dominated by broken industrial beats and hypnotically swirling synths.

Ever the consistent man, you can always count on the Berlin based Yoram to deliver us some heat, and trusting in releases he’s produced on CFA like Epoch and Luciform, we’re sure this is going to move some feet on the dancefloors.

The Nocturne EP is two new and original cuts from Yoram himself, with a swashbuckling remix from a great new talent.

The self-titled lead track Nocturne is a whirling combination of euphoria and jolting synths, the mix just right for the night, or even those cruising drives on long dark roads. While Discomposed does exactly what it says on the tin, derailing original thoughts and giving us a new composition through its sturdy rhythm, chipping away at the preconceived as if flows...

And with his first appearance on Crossfrontier Audio, we welcome Modd. In just short of a year, and in his relatively young career, the DJ and producer has managed to rock-steady with some quality releases on labels that might just ring bells, such as Kindisch and Anjunadeep... now it’s his time to turn Nocturne upside down, and the results of which are floating whirs of excitement riding through on his twist of the original. A fitting moment for a debut.

The prolific producer has been working on his craft since the 90s and shows off his garnered knowledge on each exquisite track on the release, dripped each in its own dose of crackling acid techno. A whirling breakbeat tune called 'ACKF1N' is the leading track off the EP and it's arrived for a first premiere listen below. BinaryFunction's 'USER' EP is out on June 5.

Italian DJ and producer Corcos steps up for his debut on Uncage with the ‘Work It, Get It’ EP, featuring an energetic remix of ‘If You Want’ by Marcel Fengler.
 
Having released material sparingly throughout his career, Corcos has mainly been a guiding force of the respected Bosconi imprint, which he co-founded in Florence with Minimono. Now as he steps out with fresh material he’s broadening the scope of his sound with a collection of deep, dark and gritty rave tracks that have already garnered support from the likes of Truncate, Daniel Avery, DJ Deep and Amelie Lens among others.
 
On remix duties is Marcel Fengler, an experienced producer whose energetic and infectious style has ruled over dancefloors for nearly a decade with releases on Index Marcel Fengler. His remixes have also received heavy rotation and the new remix of Corcos’ ‘If You Want’ delivers more of his distinct style.
 
The ‘Work It, Get It’ EP is set for release June 9.
