Boston-based duo Warung release their third EP with Anjunadeep 'Falling EP'. The release follows their recent remix of label-favourite Marsh's 'Blue', featuring Leo Wood, and the premiere of title-track 'Falling' on flagship label compilation Anjunadeep 14; one of two Warung tracks featured and cementing three consecutive years of support from James Grant & Jody Wisternoff.

The release combines driving breakbeat track 'Falling' with the club-ready 'Dreamscape', and rounds off with the duo's collaboration with Oliver Wickham 'Vertigo', which features powerful, swelling synths and Wickham's own vocals. Oliver Wickham is a Canadian vocalist and producer, who has also been previously championed by James Grant & Jody Wisternoff in label compilations, and collaborated with the likes of Simon Doty on previous Anjunadeep releases.

This addition to Warung's discography further demonstrates why they've been supported by the likes of Gorgon City, Eelke Kleijn and John Digweed, as well as Danny Howard and Pete Tong of BBC Radio 1. 'Falling EP' is out July 4 via Anjunadeep.

Following in the footsteps of rising talents Luttrell, Theo Kottis and Aiiso, young Finnish producer Tontario marks a new wave of talent joining Anjunadeep over the past 12 months. Making his first label outing last summer on the second installment of the ‘Explorations’ various artist EP series, followed by a pair of contributions on 2016’s iTunes Dance #1 album ‘Anjunadeep 08’, Tontario now presents his debut EP on the label with ‘Solitude’. 

Title track ‘Solitude’ is an atmospheric roller featuring dreamy vocals from fellow Finn, Lake Jons. A stand out moment from ‘Anjunadeep 08’ alongside his stunning rework of Ólafur Arnalds’s ‘Öldurót’. The EP’s second track ‘Late’ blends gentle grooves with blissful piano melodies before ‘Passing’ serves up darker dance floor vibes with Tontario’s trademark cinematic touch. Closing the EP is ‘Revenge’, a reflective deep cut that layers strings alongside haunting keys and layered organic sounds.

Anjunadeep stalwarts Eli & Fur a.k.a Eliza Noble & Jennifer Skillman make a statement homecoming with the four track ‘Night Blooming Jasmine’ EP. The release sees the UK duo return to their songwriting roots - putting their voices front and centre, whilst blending their trademark rolling grooves with a refined production style.

“Our journey as club DJs has inspired us in so many ways and we wanted to draw from those experiences, as well as our more song-based tracks earlier in our career and make something a little different that means a lot to us artistically. We feel this EP merges these two worlds together and we hope that what you hear in these songs, is our love of song-writing as well as the darker, more melodic side of electronic music that tells stories and creates emotions.”

The title track is a brooding homage to Los Angeles, built around an infectious vocal hook and crisp percussive groove. As they explain “we wrote most of the lyrics while in the city and recorded the vocals in the studio out there so listening to it really takes us back. The smell, the lights, the skies and not wanting to leave. As well as that sense of how Hollywood used to be. The decadence of it all and the cracks under the surface of the American dream.”

Studies found that our prehistorical memory collects a certain quantity of experiences and traumas from our parents and these studies ascertained that this memories somehow become alive within us. We find this is a "Call" a place where you can't run, and you can't hide, you've to face it and understand this is part of you. You just have prepare for what will come after. Understanding that the spirit and the body must stick together searching the essential meaning and find a better way to live the present. At the end, the result of our present, is a just reflexion of the choises we made in the past. 

For the 22nd release, we have the pleasure to welcome Dublin based Giuliano Silva in art "Iulianius" in our WOOD. He grew up in São Paulo (Brazil) where he had his first contact with music where he dedicated a few years to the specific study of musical theory applied to piano. Now he delivers four original tracks, a full EP called "Calls From The Past" deeply characterized by his smooth melodic touch, deep atmospheres, catchy grooves and true feelings. 

"The Temple Of Solomon" is a track that wants to be representative of the metaphysical world and the descending light of the creator. An unreal trip into the past giving us a glimpse into the future. Thank you for your time! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

It's been one year and a month since Fabio Giannelli and Alessandro Gasperini alias Glowal made their debut on BOg's Atlant label. Now the Italian power-duo returns with a remix for the label head honcho and his collaboration partner GHEIST's track 'Venere' to the label that basically had given birth to what was to follow the month after. 2019 had only been a  few weeks in and the scene already made a decision: 'Cries', released on Innervisions' Secret Weapons Part 11, would become one of the most anticipated tracks of the year. Unfortunately the decision had been made before Fabio and Alessandro released their three tracker 'Revolver' on Berlin label Exit Strategy. With each track receiving support from multiple artists it was difficult to select a common favorite as all of them got under one's skin. 'Revolver' was followed by Glowal's EP 'Roda', for which the duo teamed up with vocalist Chris Batten, on Agoria's label Sapiens, again drawing a lot of attention to their music. The latter can not be ruled out for Fabio and Alessandro's latest contribution to Atlant since their take on BOg & GHEIST's take 'Venere' again receives massive support from all over the scene and has been a Digweed favorite for a while. Glowal's remix treatment aims at floors and represents their skillful dealing with vocals and incorporating them into an instrumental – in Fabio and Alessandro's words this means that soundscapes merely take on a subordinate role instead of clashing both, the vocals and the instrumental, while being played simultaniously. So Glowal's remix approach does just that, whenever the vocals take the lead, the sound elements favor them while for the rest they put on their mark.

After the overwhelming popularity of Pracht's first release from Gorge, which reached number one in the Beatport Deep House top 100, another high performing Germany artist makes his debut - Oliver Schories with the 'Rampart EP'.

Hamburg-based Oliver has been a welcome addition to the German house community for a number of years now. Regularly playing at festivals and clubs across the world, his deep and introspective sound has won him an army of fans. Tracks on 8bit, Parquet Recordings as well as his own SOSO imprint have cemented his place in the industry as a creative, thoughtful producer and wildly original DJ.

Opening with the super funky 'Rampart' we are quickly whisked away to Oliver's world. Bumpy sine bass gets things pumping before the melodics take control, while skippy percussive layers drive it forward to the ethereal break. Taking a deeper, striped back approach, Ray Okpara keeps it minimal throughout before opening up into glorious technicolour.

'Kato', Oliver's second original sees him in deeper melodic waters. Focusing this time on spacey disco pads and leads, this is perfect for early mornings just as the sun comes up. Powerful and understated, it'll be your favourite secret weapon all summer long! Anjunadeep regular Tim Engelhardt adds his wizardry to the remix here. Drawing out the main motifs, he expertly constructs a detailed re-imagination in epic proportions.
