The whole thing feels like a high-speed chase scene where you're fleeing from a solitary-flower-wielding pursuer who wants you back, but it's too little, too late.”

Systematic Recordings is back with more techno brilliance from main man Marc Romboy in collaboration with Rafael Cerato & Astrid James.

Romboy is a long-standing figure in electronic music who blends deep, melodic techno with analogue warmth and emotional depth. Rafael Cerato also brings a powerful fusion of techno, house, and cinematic soundscapes and Astrid James is one of France's most exciting talents with a darker, rolling sound.

Down For Business is packed with attitude thanks to the vocal - a spoken word monologue on artistry. It rides on chunky and rubbery drums with old school percussion and zippy synths that light it up with future energy

The title-track on the 'Stella' EP is a haunting, string-laden piece that soothes with it's melancholia-drenched feel. It's not geared for the dancefloor at all but Juju & Jordash have stepped in to change that.

The remix opens with some delightful strings before gurgling bass riffs and a 4/4 kick rear their heads after 30 seconds. It's a driving re-imagining that maintains the ambient aesthetic while giving it a surge of energy and danceability. We like this.
