We always love welcoming new talent to Dirtybird, especially when it’s the new Vangelis Kostoxenakis “Pay My Bills” EP. The title track was sent in to us through our normal demo submission and we couldn’t be more excited about it. 
Low end rhythm, funky bassline, tough beats, quirky synths and a ghetto vocal repeating “you betta pay my bills, fool” on loop —all the elements to make one of those hot tracks that live outside of the trends. 
After falling in love with the first track, Vangelis sent us ‘Gifted Generation’, another one we instantly knew fit Dirtybird. Once again blending all the right bits but going much further on the weirdness - it takes the listener on a wild, loopy ride.

We’ve had an epic year of music in 2017, and in years past we usually put out a collection of music for our New Years Special compilations. This year we’re switching it up and dropping just one final banger, Ryan Forever’s “Nasty”.

If you were at our Dirtybird West Campout for the infamous Family Set, then you’re already familiar with this monster. After a steady stream of all-stars, Ryan flipped the vibe and dropped “Nasty” and the entire festival went completely bonkers. 

As soon as we snapped back into reality from the campout we hit up Ryan the next week, signed the track, and invited him back for our East Coast campout in February.
