It's scary, especially in the dark - even though everyone told you monsters aren’t real, or are they? In the past few years, I feel like we’ve been exposed to more fear on a global scale than I remember. So many scary things, it’s getting harder and harder to filter them out.

Birk B’s unique production on “So Afraid” features driving glitched guitars that call and answer CRÈME’s distinctive, emotional vocal and heartfelt lyrics - creating an urgent, haunting atmosphere - making “So Afraid” one of CRÈME’s most memorable tracks.

Taking the reigns on a brand new edit landing on Chicago's @fresh-meat-records, house veteran @dj-mes uses many of the original track elements and vocals, adding his own drums and bassline, a dynamic arrangement, and a righteous preacher vocal that asks us to feel the spirit and dance.

Looking back on intense driving experiences with high school and college friends through canyons in the US, this EP represents the transition from childhood to adulthood. The record's penultimate track, 'Monterrey', pays homage to one of those locations in a dark, club-focused soundscape.
