PREMIERE: Midva Trio - Strass City Bruk (Dope Tones Ensemble Remix) [Dope Tones Records]

Producer duo 64controll deliver a raw and floor-driven DJ set for TREKKIE TRAX MIX: 008, recorded live at Enter Shibuya on November 28th, 2025.

Formed in 2017 by Tokyo-based zéne and Osaka-based U-koh, 64controll are known for their rhythm-forward approach rooted in juke and footwork, while drawing heavily from Chicago house and contemporary tech house. Their productions balance precision and humor, translating directly to the dancefloor with undeniable physical impact.

Following their TREKKIE TRAX debut “Bunbun Chopper EP,” which gained international attention after heavy support from Ben UFO, the duo have continued to refine their sound. Their latest release, “Dic EP,” further sharpens this direction with tighter production and an expanded rhythmic vocabulary.

This DJ set weaves together cutting-edge club tracks from the US, UK, Europe, and Japan, anchored by multiple original 64controll productions including cuts from “Dic EP.” Moving fluidly between house, Baltimore-influenced rhythms, and juke energy, the mix locks into a relentless peak-time groove built for maximum floor pressure.

Captured directly on the dancefloor, the recording reflects 64controll’s current mode — direct, functional, playful, and unapologetically rhythmic.

2017年に東京のzéne、大阪のU-kohによって結成されたプロデューサーデュオ 64controll によるDJセットを収録した、TREKKIE TRAX MIX: 008。
本作は、2025年11月28日に渋谷Enterで行われたDJセットの模様を収録している。

ジューク／フットワークを軸に、シカゴハウスやテックハウスの影響を色濃く反映した64controllのサウンドは、鋭いリズム処理とユーモアを内包したフロア直結型のアプローチが特徴。TREKKIE TRAXからのデビュー作「Bunbun Chopper EP」は、Ben UFOによるヘビープレイをきっかけに海外からも注目を集めた。

最新作「Dic EP」では、これまでの方向性を継承しながら、より洗練されたプロダクションとリズムの深度を提示。本ミックスでは、US・UK・ヨーロッパ・日本のクラブサウンドを横断しつつ、自身の楽曲を要所に織り交ぜ、ピークタイムを意識したフィジカルで推進力のあるグルーヴを構築していく。

ダンスフロアでの熱量と即効性をそのまま封じ込めた、64controllの現在地を鮮明に刻むDJセットとなっている。
