Sydney born, Los Angeles-based producer, Craig Williams, maintains a prolific 2014 with the two-track EP, It’s Not Enough.

The new offering from the Australian Techno maven sees Williams teaming up with powerful songstress, Kaleena Zanders, for the vocal-driven A-side, “It’s Not Enough,” marrying vivid Soul with vigorous elements of House, Tech, and Acid. Newcomer, Kaleena’s, vocals take center stage amidst the driving, dark force of Craig’s production, adding a bit of light to Craig’s characteristically shadowy tendencies.

Craig elaborates on discovering and working with Kaleena –

“I first came across Kaleena from an Instagram video where she was singing, and I thought if she sounds that good recorded on an Insta video, she would sound awesome on a record. She came in to record with a couple of rough melodies in mind, and in one afternoon we knocked out all the vocals. Working with her was super easy and fun.”

Following up the title track is the B-side, “Indicator,” which dives down deep into the acid-tinged depths. A rolling bassline leads the way throughout the late night Techno mover, complemented by a blend of haunting vocal ooh’s, incisive percussion, and echoing synth blasts that set a dusky scene on the heels of “It’s Not Enough.”

The two teamed up with Guatemala-via-Los Angeles producer Carnage and vocalist Mr V on the percussion-peppered cut, releasing it on Ultra Music, and it proved to be pretty popular.

A Grime 2.0 hopeful to watch in 2016, east London based MC and producer Fusion (20 years young) made his official debut via the legendary Lord Of The Mics VII compilation. Marking himself out as one of the new generation worth a reload, his ‘Newham’ anthem (the remix of which featured his neighbours Ghetts and Mic Ty) paved the way for the grit-laden wave we’re about to witness via his ‘Genesis EP’. A four-track collection of 140 dirt, lead track ‘No’, produced by his trusty co-d Five Nine, is a stark reminder of what makes up grime’s sonic backbone. With ‘Rudeboy’, ‘Sell Me A Dream’, and the Fusion produced ’24 Hours Riddim’ dropping early May, don’t be late to the table.

My goal with “No Love” was to take elements of 90’s Hip Hop and R&B and place them within the context of my “Future Ghetto” style. I chose to sample TLC because “No Scrubs” is a true staple of 90’s R&B culture, and I wanted to see how vocal elements from the classic could convey a different vibe when paired with deeper instrumentation. I think the marriage between UK House style basses, trap percussion and TLC’s vocals offers an incredibly unique, novel and emotional take on R&B -  I hope my fans dig this one!

Sidney Charles has built himself an impressive discography in the last couple of years and he makes his EP debut here at OFF with 2 outstanding singles.

The prolific Hamburg native brings rhythm to life with a 909 rendition to jackin house in "Jack On The Rocks", it's all about the classic vibe and the unmistakable shuffle in this one, while we bring Berlin's tech master Santé (Desolat/8Bit) to the remix decks to turn the track into a deeper bass-driven journey with added sax and a groove that will sure get them moving.
