Rødhåd presents: CRIMSON RUBEUS - the first compilation on WSNWG - BACK TO ZERO will be released on April 3rd.
Under the leitmotif “WE SEE NEW WORLDS GROWING”, the release marks a progression for the imprint to open up for solo releases from new artists and and long term collaborators.

The compilation features 8 tracks handpicked by Rødhåd, each characterized by a vigorous commitment to the dancefloor while staying true to the label's signature - hard-to-resist sound with a pinch of mystery. Over the past year, these unreleased tracks quickly became favourites in Rødhåd's DJ sets, resulting in the idea of curating them in a compilation. The emergence of new worlds is undeniably tangible: 'CRIMSON RUBEUS' signals a new era of creative exchange and different artistic expression for WSNWG - BACK TO ZERO.  As the label opens up to a wider variety of artists, we find both emerging talent represented and producers who already appeared on the label before. 

While every contribution has its distinct magnetic pull, marking the way to a nascent world, the crimson red thread running through this compilation is perpetuating, swirling techno with an acute fit for the dancefloor. As with previous releases Rødhåd crafted the artwork for the compilation, this time drenched in crimson hues echoing the energy of the music.

Holden’s third release on SK_Eleven, Dust,  showcases a striking evolution of his signature dark, driving sound. Rhythms are as urgent and rooted in the dancefloor as ever, but melodies have grown more haunting and emotive. This release sees Holden charting new sonic territory with two ambient tracks to open and close the record. Opener “Dust” brings melody and harmony to the foreground to set the emotional tone for the peak-time techno tracks that follow, while the closing track, “Frost,” ends the EP on a more hopeful note, its yearning melody disappearing into the mist beyond the sunlight.

Conundrum Records delves into the depths of techno with a riveting release from Hitam, the Dutch producer who's renowned for his immersive soundscapes, stimulating textures and dynamic low-end. The "Subterranean EP" is a compelling journey through shadowy, bass-driven terrain, meticulously designed for powerful club systems. The EP kicks off with "Nagini", where minimalist, driving drum patterns intertwine with glitchy synths and eerie atmospheres, setting the stage for what’s to come. 
"Hoia Baciu" intensifies the experience, maintaining a dark, brooding energy that envelops the listener in its foreboding vibe. "Kaelago" shifts gears slightly, slowing the tempo but upping the complexity with intricate sound design and broken beat transitions that showcase Hitam’s deft production skills. 

Adding to the EP’s allure, renowned techno artist Rene Wise contributes a hypnotic, tribal-infused remix of "Kaelago," layering new depths onto the original and enhancing its already potent impact. For those seeking an even more intense experience, Hitam’s alternative version of "Kaelago" serves as a digital bonus, pushing the boundaries of auditory immersion. 

"Subterranean" is a masterclass in crafting dark, cerebral techno, with Hitam firmly establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in the genre. This EP is not just a collection of tracks but an exploration of mood and atmosphere, making it an essential listen for those who appreciate techno’s deeper, more introspective side.

PREMIERE: Hitam - Kaelago (Rene Wise Remix) [CNDRM005]

For Fuse’s fifth release, Brussels’ Altinbas returns for a whirlwind of meditative and harmonious techno. Solidifying his identity of focused yet vibrant club music, the Fuse resident and label co-curator offers his second contribution ‘Sustain’ as a dancefloor-enveloping take on modern techno. Known for rich chords, whipping pads, and dry percussion, Altinbas proves once again that his touch as a producer revolves around balance and calculated effect.

‘Trail of’ kick starts the EP with flourishing synthwork and a taste of dub as has become the Belgian artist’s signature. Dotting toms as rhythmic accents and a low to the ground shaker make for a swaying introduction with an infectious groove. Breaking things up in the second track, ‘Life Force’ presents Detroit style chord stabs and playful rhythmic work. With a mental synth at the foundation, the track presents 909 drums to reinvigorate atmospheric synths that make ‘Life Force’ a subtle hybrid of classic club genres. With a wink at Fuse’s heritage and a peak into its future, Altinbas’ focus on enduring music can be felt throughout ‘Sustain’ and truly understood in the Brussels club. As a fitting follow up, ‘Purpose’ opens the B-side with illuminating chords and rounded sound design and a pulsating low-end. With almost a lighthearted tone, the record fits across genres and rooms, claiming movement instead of mood as its sole medium. The title track ‘Sustain’ proves just that - a melodic sequence and progressive arrangement make for an intensely euphoric closing. Evolving melodies, opening filters, and big but calculated buildups sum up Altinbas’s work for Fuse’s fifth release on the new label. The record brims with warmth and yet it finds its way on darker dance floors with ease, providing a refined style of music that belongs only to him across the international scene.
