￼Roush returns with another slammer of a release with “IN2”. The label tributes the ever popular “Tech House” genre with 4 unique tracks from the artist “Truth Be Told” that also includes a remix from Raffa FL.
Truth Be Told hit the scene when their debut EP received notable support from Richie Hawtin and was spun at some of the worlds top clubs and festivals. After this recognition and countless releases they join the Roush roster. The release kicks off with the title track “IN2” which is nothing short of banger beats. The kick pounds through the speakers and doesn’t really ever stop. The breakdown also contains a nice subtle kick that keeps anyone dancing while listening to a jazzy synth that kicks right back into the dancing vibes.
To continue the vibe of the EP, Truth Be Told provide you two other slammers in “Keep Up” and “We Can’t”. You only get a second to breathe from the solid beats proving once again why Truth Be Told produces tracks that will guarantee to keep you moving all night long.
The EP closes with a remix from RAFFA FL based in Milan, Italy. After spending his youth learning to understand and perform music, a natural progression to DJ’ing came at the tender age of just 14. He scales back the original to more “Deep House” vibe that complements the original well. A couple of short sirens and synths make this one a great starter or middle track to your set. In the past few Years, Raffa has released on Labels like Avotre, Lost Records, Definition:Music, OFF Recordings, Material which has helped him to get his name all around the Worldwide House Music Scene and a huge reason why ROUSH now has the artist on board for this EP.

Welcome to the follow up coming out on Toolroom on September 30th and our Debut Transmission Today. ‘Front Line’ is a peak-time house record with a chunky, rolling groove that sits alongside some old school hoover stabs and insanely catchy and quirky vocals courtesy of Steve Edwards that add that daytime accessibility and instant hook. 

We got a quote from them: “We were pretty overwhelmed with the reception that "Sending Love" received so we knew that the follow up single had to be something special. We wanted to make a record that would be a "party starter" - something to make your fists pump whilst your face smiles, so when we were originally working on the project we knew we needed a really good vocal hook.  In steps the legendary Steve Edwards, and with our powers combined we proudly present "Front Line"!

We sent the track over to Toolroom and they got back to us within 10 minutes saying they'd sign it so we're super excited about sharing this with the world. We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we enjoyed making it."

Riva Starr and Tiger Stripes drop their debut collaborative EP, with the inspired ‘Sound Of The Bettest’.

We first got an inkling of the exciting partnership that may exist between Stefano Miele (Riva Starr) and Mikael Nordgren (Tiger Stripes) last November, when Stefano presented his new Hyperloop project on Truesoul. Not only was it one of 2017’s standout releases for the label, it featured an exciting re-work by Tiger Stripes of EP track ‘Fallen Angel’, giving us a sense of the musical harmony that exists between the pair and taste of what was to come. 

With Riva Starr’s background as a jungle/breakbeat DJ and Tiger Stripes long-history in techno, together with the pair’s shared love of dirty house beats, ‘Sound Of The Bettest’ is a wicked melting pot of both their pasts and passions. Hammered by Adam Beyer, the title track is driven by a stunning groovy bass, warehouse MCing and deft breakbeat interludes. ‘Move It’, is a rough and tough accompaniment, characterised by a bad arse jungle bassline and breakbeats, impactful vocals and  and stomping techno beats.

Nic Fanciulli's first appearance on Rejected came back in 2009, when he took over "Room 3" of the labels famous Dusty House. This was followed by last years "Together", his co-production with label boss Joris Voorn and today he returns to Dutch shores again with his latest brace, "Movin' On" and "Round & Round."

With "Movin' On" featuring in his brand new and ready to roll 'Balance' compilation, our timing couldn't be better. Perfect for the summer floors, it rolls heavy with Fanciulli's trademark drive and funk. Breaking out the harmonica and letting the divas holla, he drops the bass in the synth-lead breaks before slamming it back for, dare we say it, those real hands in the air moments. The terraces eagerly await.

Pulling no punches on the flip, we have "Round & Round." In typical heads down fashion and with a dizzying display of hats and snare, Nic turns in a floor burning tool that could easily demand its very own room in Rejected's dusty abode. Two strong cuts from one of the most consistent producers of today.

Following a remix on Hottrax, James Burnham aka Burnski is back under his James Solace alias to release Mind Music, a formidable first full release featuring four equally as impressive tracks released this February on Hot Creations.

Keep On sets the tone of this sumptuous release, rumbling sub-bass holds the track together, like a huge wave it slowly gains intensity, given room to breathe until it unfurls into a powerful weapon. A heavy dose of playful funk is applied on Catalyst, with guitar, squelching synth and a dash of warm soul. Mind Music is a deep and hypnotic piece, an addictive vocal loop over laser sharp synth and becomes firmly embedded in the psyche. Finally, Groove does what it says on the tin and sees James expertly craft another solid beat where growling bass combines with licks of pulsating acid that will undoubtedly send the dance floor into raptures.

UK hero James Solace also known as Burnski has made his name through a penchant for moving through many styles of music with ease, always being one step ahead of the trend and mixing the new with the old. Whether it be his trade-mark tech-house grooves released under Burnski or through his Instinct alias and label where he channels drum and bass, garage and 2-step, his productions are always of the highest quality. He boasts regular gigs at esteemed venues including DC10, Fabric, Rex Club and Watergate.
