We are proud to present the last cañonazo of the year. Descending from the mountains to the Caribbean we found a guaca full of hip-breaking experimental dembow. ‘Sentimientos Encontrados’ marks another edge in the vast and stimulant sonic exploration of Nicola Cruz. The Ecuadorian artist ornamented 4 tracks with a wide rhythmic spectrum where sound currents from two continents are masterfully fused: South American percussions, 303 lines, and his modular system are at the service of futuristic perreo but also for the banger 'Se pone caliente', a sort of bastard son between dubstep and techno conceived in the Quito heights. 

Rising Honduran reggaeton star Isabella Lovestory hops on 'O sea, sí te quiero' for a killer featuring. "Hard and fast, as a thunder", she sentences. Her heart of ice exalts the collective scream where the woman, as it usually happens in the genre and as it should be in any field, are the leading subjects/characters. Finally, the journey closes with a brilliant and classy reinterpretation of ‘Sin retorno' from Ehua. The Nervous Horizon affiliated artist delivers a percussively intense and highly functional version that plunges you into a mental and bodily march. As one of the songs dictates in a processed voice, this is music to make the dance floor get caliente.

Cuban-born, Miami-based @LAGOONYCHONGA gets a helping hand from @dannydaze and @nickleon on her next release, 'Phonkay', a high energy dembow-infused track featuring vocals from the rapper herself.

The track makes up one of 42 cuts on Danny Daze's forthcoming compilation 'Homecore! Miami All Stars', set for release this month on @omnidisc. "This compilation focuses on the connective tissue that is Miami," he says. "There’s a misconception of what Miami has to offer. It has a rich history of all sorts of music including electronic music."
