It's no secret that we're backing the unique and forward-thinking sounds of Teki Latex's Sound Pellegrino imprint. Next up on the label is Joe Howe, otherwise better known as Ben Butler & Mousepad. The Glaswegian has impressed significantly and now he brings us his debut EP and you can expect eight tracks of forward-thinking and impressive electronic music.

The EP called 'EXEP', which stands for 'EXtra Extended Play' dropped at the end of last month and to celebrate the release we are streaming the delightful 'Dream D'. This summery glitcher oozes groove and perfectly showcases the sound that Howe is pushing, one that's completely his own.

Indie three-piece White Lies are no strangers to the bright lights of stardom. Their debut album 'To Lose My Life' was globally recognised and soon a hectic festival season and world tour followed. Two albums down the line they're now fully established as ones to check out at any opportunity.

Last year they released 'Big TV' and giving the title track from the album the remix treatment is prolific German duo Tube &amp; Berger. Regular Beatport chart toppers and masters of thick, underground house, the duo have reworked the track to perfection.

Belgium duo, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike has collaborated with Diplo & Fatboy Slim to produce a song for the Fatboy Slim curated album, Bem Brasil. Eparrei is an un-paralleled slice of electro mambo, fusing cutting edge EDM with the sounds and culture of Brasil.

This new summer anthem also features, Brasilian electro funk group, Bonde Do Role who unique take on the local ‘funk carioca’ has seen them play to huge crowds in South America and support the likes of CSS. All this combined creates an anthem destined to scorch dance floors across the world, and also perfectly captures the tone and spirit of what Fatboy Slim has aimed for with his curation of the Bem Brasil album, a synthesis of the best of dance music and Brasilian vibes.

Anybody who has been to the festival in Detroit knows that Monday is the final stretch of an epic weekend. People find the last bit of energy they can muster up and head down to Hart Plaza one more time. 

As I was surrounded by dark, hard techno on Monday night, I took over at the underground stage and went for a slightly more funky and uplifting set that I think was a perfect fit for the final day of the festival. Enjoy!

Laurent Garnier might have been doing his thing for about 30 years - a very good thing at that - but he's showing no signs of stepping back anytime soon. 

The French techno maestro spent last year touring Europe and North America, whether that be playing Coachella festival in California or the now-closed Trouw in Amsterdam, as well as finding time to release on Hypercolour, MCDE and Berlin-based 50 Weapons. 

His release on Hypercolour included Enchanté, a beaming, click-clacking techno cut that's about to be released again as part of his forthcoming album, 'Home', on F Communications.
