Karakul welcomes Lea Lisa to the label for her new 12" 'Keys Of Life' featuring house legend Glenn Underground on remix duties.

Lea Lisa has been involved in the French and Swiss house music scenese since the early 90s and is a longtime family member of Toulouse record shop InnerDisc. During the past decade she also added production to her musical talents and a string of releases on labels such as Wolf Music, Mona Musique and Inner Balance have followed.

Tenderlonious has proven himself to be one of the most versatile and uninhibited artists in music today, blending genres and multi instrumentation with style and ease. Whether it be jazz fusion with his band Ruby Rushton, Hindustani classical with Pakistani quartet Jaubi or deep house, electro funk and ambient electronica in his solo studio productions, he has accumulated a back catalogue of releases and collaborations that unveil a musician who is continuously striving to evolve and push the boundaries of sound.

His new album ‘Still Flute’, set for release in October this year, continues with that notion, combining his signature live flute and synth work over Detroit house, p-funk, spiritual ragas and ambient sound designs. There are four deep house jams, including ‘Song For My Mother’ and title track ‘Still Flute’, all embellished with energetic flute solos. ‘Isaac’s Theme’ and ‘Neptune’s Mood’ add the downbeat p-funk mood, while ‘Seti Khola’ is a deeply spiritual Hindustani raga. ‘Journey to Thra’ and ‘End Transmission’ add the ambient palette to another phenomenal record from @tenderlonious and the @22amusic camp.

After his dreamy electronica debut album, 'Fear' on Needwant records, New York-based producer, Baltra injects colourful clubby elements into 'With You' for his freshly executed remix. Baltra, who has released iconic lo-fi house tracks including 'O'Neil' and 'Fade Away' utilises the original track's angelic vocals yet replaces the headsy breakbeat rhythm for dancefloor kicks and classic house pads.

The New York-based producer implements a mid-point breakdown, leaving the vocal stark, before the contagiously catchy bassline comes in once again taking 'With You' to a new level of euphoria.

Since being discovered by Kolsch on his BBC Radio 1 Residency show, Paris Green has released on Damian Lazarus' Crosstown Rebels imprint, as well as Positiva / Astralwerks / Motown with 'Oh Yes' featuring Motown greats, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

On this record he uses his craft and decades of experience to spin a timeless sound while adding his own licks and contemporary flourishes that give the Wanderist project such unique flavour.  As second releases go Wanderist nailed it and with the launch of his new imprint Transient Nature on the horizon we’re sure there’s plenty more to come.
