I surprisingly only recently found Matador even though I've been listening and playing Progressive & Techno for quite some time now.. the first song by him I heard was "Kingswing" which is an amazing track, but it's even more surprising to me that I haven't listened to him sooner just because I LOVE all his tracks!! Matador somehow creates the perfect type of Progressive/Techno sounds that I particularly enjoy listening to, it was hilarious because when my girlfriend & I were putting together our playlist for our Techno/Progressive set recently we kept stumbling onto Matador songs we wanted to use, and even trying not to we still used many in the set! It's just so dang good! Needless to say, I just recently also used this awesome song "Ramaha" in a headlining set that I played at my own Music Festival and it mixed in very nicely!

The Soulful Techno king Gabriel Ananda makes his Truesoul debut with a re-master of his 2006 classic ‘Doppelwhipper’. The package also comes with two brand new remixes from Drumcode favourite Marco Faraone and the hotly tipped Layton Giordani. 

The EP opens with Marco Faraone’s remix, which samples Kings of Tomorrow’s ‘KOT Anthem (Soul Vision Remix)’. This takes ‘Doppelwhipper’ to dizzy new heights, keeping the obscure roots of the track and adding a rolling bass line that will bring any dancefloor to sheer hysteria. Next up is a re-master of Ananda’s seminal ‘Doppelwhipper’, a track which has well and truly stood the test of time. A connoisseur of the uncommon, his curious sounds float through almost 10 minutes of pure hedonism. Closing out the package is Layton Giordani’s interpretation of the track that is set to be a firm club favourite. Pounding through the gears, this one will do some real damage.

A work 12 months in the making, Adam Beyer continues his exciting series of collaborative EPs, teaming up with heavy-hitters Pig&Dan for an multi-faceted four-tracker.

Chances are up if you spied Adam Beyer in an airport departure lounge over the past 12 months, he’d have his head buried in his laptop, immersed in creating sound sketches. A long-time fan of collaborations, the Drumcode chief has been on an inspiring streak of form lately, teaming up with the likes of Mark Reeve, Dense & Pika and now Pig&Dan. The results have been compelling, to say the least. 

In trademark perfectionist Beyer style, the title track ‘Capsule’ – a shimmering slice of techno - involved “around 15 different versions” the track rigorously road tested by the Swede and featured in episodes of Drumcode Radio to test dancefloor reactions, before finally getting the sign off.  ‘In Love’ is a big room techno groover, driven by crisp drums and the kind of evocative vocal effect that’ll have hairs standing on ends. ‘Atmosfear’ is true to its name, centered on a menacing synth line and gritty percussion, its deep kicks and subterranean bass combining superbly to create a heady dancefloor brew. ‘We Are E’ is propelled by a catchy synth hook and a classic call-to-arms vocal, which tips its cap to the artists’ shared love of classic UK rave.
