It's hot, summer is here, Latin tribal techno is arriving, and papi @nickleon knows it. 'Xtasis' is the title of the EP and it's also the banger that contains impure euphoria, one that is detonated in complicity with the raptor house maestro, Venezuela's finest, DJ Babatr. Meanwhile, 'Grito' is a scandal. It's the call that demands for a rhythm that was looked down upon, but now is his time and this rhythm is driven into the future. The collision of guaracha with edgy sound design is here to stay by the hand of the Miami-based producer.

And well, as if that wasn't enough, the Hessle Audio Mainstay, Pearson Sound, arrives to deliver even more Xtasis, to enhance a track that has been creating a burst of joy at festivals and dance floors around the world, with the astuteness, precision, and elegance that only David can do. @drmystery's next release is the bass-forward four-track EP 'Basquiat' heading to Manchester's @leftrightandcentreuk this month.

On the eponymous title track, 'Basquiat' comes into focus with a mysterious sample and a transcendent breakbeat coated with delayed synths, phasing in and out of the foreground to present a dreamlike space.

@slolek’s debut EP ‘Transfiguration’ heads onto Bristol's @canaperecords this month featuring five tracks exploring an expansive range of tempos and energies, deftly pairing acute, ambient sound design with a leftfield-club sensibility.

Garage aficionado @toddedwards3000 takes on monster remix duties this month with his next track on @strictlyrhythm - a pumped up rework of the '93 house classic from @little-louie-vega (Hardrive), 'Deep Inside'.

"Masters At Work have been one of the biggest inspirations for my music. So, it was an honour for me to be able to remix “Little” Louie Vega’s classic," Edwards said of his next release. "For the remix I made sure that the music was nothing short of positive vibes and also a nod to MAW’s tribal drums style.”

Panorama Bar resident Paramida has announced her second EP, via her own Love On The Rocks imprint. The ‘Moonrise VII’ EP includes 3 cuts of hands in the air, good time house, F1 tunnel rave and emotional dream house and flaunts her signature take on colourful, trance-inflected visions of the dance floor.

EP opener ‘Sailor Moon House’ merges beautiful, colourful and chaotic energy. An infinity cruise of pure joy, it’s hyper-colour trance clouds break to a shiny new dawn of driving rhythms, acid bass hooks and searching sonar pings. 

"After hours of watching YouTube footage from early 90’s beach raves in Goa, I was inspired to embody this spirit and somehow bring if back,” Paramida says. “I’d spent years telling artists that want to release on LOTR to try and do the same, to soundtrack that moment of ecstasy at 8am as the sun comes, then I realised I should just do it myself. That's essentially why I started making music, to capture that moment and what it means to me. Sailor Moon House is exactly that.”
