Jon Gurd presents ‘Spaces’, his first release since his acclaimed 2020 album ‘Lion’.

A companion EP to ‘Lion' ’Spaces’ features three new tracks imbued with Gurd’s textural sound design and moody melodies. Lead track ‘Fire & Ice’ evokes the cavernous uplifting sound of the 90s, reminiscent of Massive Attack and Underworld, whilst ‘Walk With Me’ and ‘Flux’ favour are characteristically Gurd - bittersweet and breaksy.

If 'Lion’ was an album that deals with loss, ‘Spaces’ is the resulting reprieve - a stirring return that shows why Gurd is supported by the likes of Solomun, Stephen Bodzin, Alan Fitzpatrick, Adriatique, Gorgon City, and Shadow Child.
