This is so good. The rhythmic part is very rich but this oriental leitmotiv is so organic... Really, really nice!

"Five years after the first volume, ARENA01, Agva Records is back with ARENA02, a mega-pack of almost forty tracks focusing on the experimental and hybrid club scene of Latin America.

Released in 2016, the first chapter laid the foundations of the label and unveiled a solid tracklisting composed of close and local members of the collective (Defensa, EL PLVYBXY, CHLO…) and international producers (King Doudou, Bigote).

For this second edition, the label did not go easy and gathered a real festival line-up. ARENA02 features projects from all over the continent and beyond, from emerging artists to real headliners: Dengue Dengue Dengue, Lao (NAAFI, Mexico), Bungalovv (TRRUENO, Argentina), Endgame (Precious Metal, UK), Catnapp, Doxxed, Pobvio, or even the Mexican producer who signed the revival of pre-Hispanic tribal, Ozomatecuhtli. Among others!"

Our next TRM podcast series comes courtesy of Madrid DJ and producer @luis-miguel-espinosa. A true pioneer in the Madrid music scene, Luis has hosted nights since the late '90s with an eclectic variety of styles, including dub, hip hop, drum & bass, electro but mainly techno. 
In October 2020, Luis has launched his own label, @art_intelligence_records, a clear tribute to the seminal Warp series. His main focus will be to pay a sincere and heartfelt tribute to the pioneers of the early '90s, the first generation of UK Bleep sound and Braindance creators, including labels such as Warp Records, Rephlex, Planet Mu and Skam Records.

A place of peace had become nigh on impossible to find; there was too much chaos around and not enough time to spare. A moment for oneself had become a rarity, falling through the gaps between flurrys of emails and expanding workloads, clouded by relentless tasks and daily expectations. But it was a necessity — a moment of tranquility had to be the priority, self-care had to come first.

Berlin party, collective and label Radiant Love are seeing out a year we're all happy to see the back of with a release from Parisian DJ and producer E00, titled Peace & Tranquility. His hazy, dreamy output brings some lightness to the end of a dark year, helping us over the final hurdle and in to 2021. Across the four tracks, lush pads and airy atmospheres are married with rolling drum patterns and crisp percussion that meander through tempos but keep us floating in the air.

@agvarecords is a music collective and web label founded in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2015, focused on Latin American dance rhythms and in constant search of the freshest club sounds coming from the southern ghettos. Agva has been releasing music since then, as well as running a monthly party and radio show.

In this compilation, 'ARENA 002', its highlighting key artists of the current sudamerican club sound, as well as from other parts of the world. The 'Arena'' saga is a compilation of sounds emerging from dance music environments of ethnic and autochthonous origins, along with the rhythmic affections and technological resources of the new decade.

@ovidmusic's contribution 'Selay' is pairs a percussive pulse with expressive strings.
