The latest instalment on @kaizenltd pays homage to '90s rave, UKG and breakbeat capturing the euphoria of the dancefloor, @debbauk's three-track heater, 'Just Wanna’.

Debba’s distinctive vocal chops are the dulcet tones of a rave-angel repeatedly singing "just wanna" on a skippy garage beat, cut up by a hypnotic, shimmering breakdown and the percussive pressure of post-dubstep.

Since his 2019 debut on Circular Jaw and a string of reputable releases on Cloudcore and Redstone Press, Staffordshire-born Dom Bishop, has been making waves across the UK Bass circuit.

Fusing a dense, eerie style of UK techno, bass and breaks, amassing support from notable figures like Oneman, Jay Carder, My Nu Leng, Darwin, Plastician and more, his intricate stylings sit perfectly with his latest release on Madam X’s KAIZEN label.

Gimme A Break Records have proudly announced their first release of 2024, teaming up with London-based producer An Avrin to deliver his “Spelunkerer” EP, a collection of mind-boggling leftfield-club productions accompanied by an equally spectacular remix from Leeds-based Stolen Velour. With previous releases on Scuffed Recordings, Slippery Sounds and Erbium Records, An Avrin has developed an unmistakably unique production style characterised by clean sampling, intricate detail, heavy bass and contorting rhythms. Alongside his highly-acclaimed label releases, An Avrin has also garnered substantial attention from the underground club scene through his self-releases and edits, with his flip of Darude’s “Sandstorm” dominating the summer DJ circuit in 2023.

 Following a deceptively innocent introduction, “Conduit” descends into a raucous leftfield take on the Breakbeat / UKG crossover style that has dominated the UK’s underground club scene in recent times.
