Heavy Rotations Vol 1 is Maeve's first long player. Releasing a compilation has long been an ambition of the label, however time was the key component in producing a record we could all be proud of. The best laid plans can often fall by the wayside, having a clear idea of what you want to achieve with a record like this changes constantly as you collect the pieces of the puzzle and try fit them together in a way that makes sense.

As well as the label founders we started by also inviting friends that had already released on Maeve, to contribute to the compilation. This was a good starting point as each of those artists are all quite different from one another so we felt it could produce some interesting results. There was no brief, just a blank canvas to contribute something they felt belonged on the label. It was also super important for us to use this record as a platform for lesser known artists to showcase their work.

So after 2 years of planning we finally have an 11 track compilation together which will be delivered as a triple vinyl in early June. It is a record that developed and changed a lot over that period but now is something Maeve is very excited to share with the world.

On May 19th we will launch the record at Funkhaus Berlin with a line up compiled of those who contributed to the compilation.

Hailing from Kiel in the very North of Germany Rangø steps up to present his debut on Bondage-Music. 'Nine to Five'' is the first song on the EP, which takes the listener on a journey through space. Dubby Shots, hovering pads and accented drum sounds melt together into a perfect mix. With the title track of the EP, Rang had chosen a more powerful approach. Tenampa turns now to one of the most well-known and respect underground artists: Butane.

Butane boasts an impressive discography, released by some of the most highly regarded labels in the business, such as Crosstown Rebels, Sci+Tec, Hottrax & Get Physical. 
As a label owner, he's the founder of three influential underground dance music imprints: Alphahouse, Little Helpers, and his new Extrasketch project.

Butane teams up again with Riko Forinson for his Ascension EP, using the same formula of their latest release on Deeperfect Records.

The title track is a tasty workout with plenty of groove, chunky and hypnotic, that will keep you locked in!

“Manipulation” is a deep underground number with dark overtones and pitched down speech that spices things up. A solid gem for the chunkier moments of your set.

02- Butane, Riko Forinson - Manipulation [Tenampa Recordings]

After the well-received first edition, Get Physical Music return with Volume two in the Acid Love album series, as selected by label boss Roland Leesker.

‘Acid Love Vol. II’ see the Get Physical co-founder dig deep, turning up a fine mix of red hot cuts fueled by the sounds of the Roland TB303 and the mutations it inspired. The album features a host of the scene’s best names and includes brand new and exclusive tracks from Hoopalaï and The Fitness, Craig Williams & Sluggers, Guti Presents LL, DJ One Five and Lessnoise, as well as a Roland Leesker remix of Get Physical founding father DJ T..

The journey kicks off with Deep’a & Biri’s excellent ‘Echoic Memories’ which sets a truly atmospheric tone. Leesker himself then links with Andre Salata for the hypnotic ‘Oi,’ and after Salata’s raw remix of 'Master Blaster’ by DJ Pierre, Emanuel Satie’s ‘Free’ offers more rugged acid grooves. Leesker’s instrumental version of ‘Music Is Here’ is a real tripped out groover, Doorly offers some fine acid with his Phuture remix and the quartet of exclusives then offer wonky house, deep acid and drilling 303 workouts that take you to the cosmos. The last of these exclusives see Guti join forces with Roland Leesker as LL for a superb offering born from a musically fruitful night in Tokyo!

The mid-stages welcomes Detroit great Mathew Dear, a stunning ‘I Feel Love’ acapella, a hard hitting and acid laced remix by Lessnoise and a slow and sensuous deep acid meditation from Pezzner. Spanish techno titan Paco Osuna, Ali X and Pvlomo plus another exclusive from DJ One Five and Lessnoise then round things out in heady house fashion.

This is another landmark mix from Get Physical that shines a fantastic light on some of the best acid tracks out there. To accompany the album’s release the label have also produced a rather tongue in cheek piece of merch in the form of their distinctive ‘Make Acid Great Again’ cap’, which will be available soon.
