<p>Johnny Kaos and Mattew Jay there are no strangers to MB Elektronics world and they deliver a dynamic EP. First up is &#8216;Polling&#8217;, an instant solid production from both of them. Deep chords are bouncing back on the foreground mixed up perfectly with twisted effects. Perfect beginning to this EP and the best of all it&#8217;s just one of the three excellent tracks here. Next comes &#8216;Don&#8217;t Touch My Bass&#8217; and once again this is an epic techno journey with thick but eerie melodies all over. Closing this EP is &#8216;You Are a Monster&#8217; which is really special. The bassline, lighten up the drum kicks and make it much more tasteful. Nothing less but elegant stuff to this EP is a solid outing from the boys, Johnny Kaos and Mattew Jay and for MB Elektronics as well, it will really put your speakers to the test.</p>

Since bursting onto the scene in 2010 with huge support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, John Digweed and Dave Clarke, Ireland’s Ian O'Donovan has gone on to achieve great feats as an artist. Ian has forged a unique style within the techno scene, blending a touch of the past with his melodic sound and moulding it into place with top level production. His tracks have found homes on iconic imprints such as Kevin Saunderson's KMS in Detroit, John Digweed's burgeoning Bedrock Records, Christian Smith's Tronic and Sasha's Last Night on Earth label.
Ian has reworked classics like Inner City's 'Good Life' and collaborated with legends like John Digweed along with a string of top solo releases, which have won favour with industry titans like Richie Hawtin and Carl Cox. After standout early releases on Detone and KMS, 2015 sees Ian O'Donovan's stock once more on the rise, fuelled further by the signing of inimitable techno cut 'Vortex' to Adam Beyer's global phenomenon Drumcode Records; an indication that this timeless producer is only now entering his stride. With an arsenal of dance-floor weapons developed over a decade by his side, Ian is committed to bringing his dj sets to the world, taking music lovers on an intricate journey both into the artist’s mind and to a place of musical inspiration. With ’Skyn’ Ian debuts on Exploited Ghetto - a melodic tropical house affair. ’The Step’ on the flip is straight 4 to the floor techno business.

Chicago’s own Honey Dijon steps up to remix Marco Faraone’s ‘Double Faces’ with a ballad that progresses into a dancefloor bomb using spellbinding rhythm.
 
Since emerging in the past few years due to releases on Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon’s Classic label, Honey Dijon has become recognized as one of the premiere DJs in the industry due to her energetic and infectious DJ sets. Now she lays down the essence of her style with a new remix set for release on Tenax Recordings.
 
With the original possessing a stripped back dub motif, Honey begins by focusing on Marco’s rhythmic style, injecting her own blast of energy and using the synths for a somewhat anthemic feel. It’s hypnotic by nature and provides room for appeal as a DJ tool. Judging by Honey’s standout sets, we’ll be hearing this in clubland throughout the summer.

From cult local beginnings on the Berlin circuit, Rødhåd is now very much part of the global DJ highway. What initially turned heads was his ability to hold down long and hypnotic sets of loopy, moody house and techno all masterfully mixed in immersive ways. His productions, too, mixed sparse ambient designs with rolling techno grooves on labels like Dystopian and Token, and just this month he put out his debut album, Anxious. It’s a filmic meditation on beautifully bleak and eerie sounds and is another reason we love the man after he turned in a memorable closing set on our UFO stage at this year’s Dekmantel Festival. 

Over a ninety minute live mix recorded recently, he gets more energised with plenty of hurried techno and urgent synth lines all tightly weaving round each other. It’s a high pressure and enchantingly linear set that touches on Millsian space vibes, industrialism and unhinged apocalypse music in one smoothly mixed and sequenced session that will leave you out of breath.
