Characterised by the sounds of a 2016 Soundcloud, post-IDM landscape, Stereo Cube draws inspiration from the producers and artists that shaped his early years. Notes of Mr. Bill, Tennyson, Koan Sound, and Virtual Riot seep through in each production, with a fresh take on the sounds that have inspired him since the project's inception a decade ago.

Overlord is marked by glistening glitches that swirl around the listener, while meticulous vocal chops and playful time signatures add layers of intrigue. The EP is a glimpse into his evolving sound-both familiar and forward-thinking, marking his long-awaited return.

For Feeling Blue’s fifth release comes one of the most hotly-tipped producers out of Ōtautahi, Christchurch - Shli, making their label debut with new 4-track EP ‘Backrooms’.

The EP feels like both an ode to classic, percussive club production with signature and recognisable sample and pattern selections, as well as an exploration of the new wave of underground, weaved with dark, clever, distorted and intricate melodic elements right throughout. The result is the perfect catalyst of current underground and house party “backroom” culture found only in New Zealand.

‘Anemoia’ kicks off laying out the sonic palette for the EP; a powerful 2-step beat, dubby synths intricately affected and interacting effortlessly with it, and a deep, wobbly bass wrapping all elements together.

On this double single, we hear his signature sound rupture speakers with skittish sharp percussion, heavy-hitting bass, and industrial textures. On side B, 'Atlas' is explosive in nature, creating a chaotic sense of urgency.
