Auf zu Neuen Dächern mit: Rolandson

Unsere Podcast-Reihe startet in die Off-Saison und lädt mit „Gottlieb Scheppert“ zum eifrigen Pilzesammeln über den Dächern Neuköllns: Der Berliner Down-Tech-Produzent sorgte zuletzt mit seiner „Zahar EP“ auf dem Label „Metanoia“ für großes Aufhorchen in der Szene und bringt mit seinen verschwurbelt-niedertempoiden Sets reihenweise deren Frontallappen zum scheppern. Mit einer geradezu unverschämten Brett-Dichte fegt er dem Kranich selbst mit angezogener Handbremse die Ziegel vom Kopf und manövriert dabei gekonnt zwischen psychedelischer Electronica, 90er-Nostalgie und absoluter Peaktime-Extase. Wir verbleiben voller Floorfreude auf die Clubsaison und freuen uns vor allem darauf, „Gottlieb Scheppert“ wieder live auf dem Klunkerkranich begrüßen zu dürfen.

Sean McCabe’s Good Vibrations label drops it’s third vinyl release courtesy of fresh reworks of the Victor Simonelli classic ‘Was It Just a Game’. Originally released in 1993 and heavily steeped in US Garage folklore, these brand-new mixes bring the track back to the dancefloor once again and are sure to please those familiar with the original and newcomers alike. As fans of the label will have come to expect, the quality is dialed high here with Black Sonix, Motion Severn and label front man Sean McCabe each taking a remix under their wing.
