The Steyoyoke family will be brushing the sand of its skin for the next couple of months, as they prepare to migrate south for the winter to Brazil. In wake of this landmark occasion Steyoyoke will be encapsulating the vibes in a special ‘Steyoyoke In Brazil’ EP to be released in December. AKASE, the new collaborative project between Harry Agius (better known as Midland) and Robbie Redway, is the latest artist signing to !K7 Records. Formed in Leeds, written in London and finished in Berlin under the influence of Ewan Pearson, "Rust" is the first piece of music to surface from the project.

As Midland, Harry Agius has built a reputation for releasing delicately brilliant bass driven house and techno, and over the course of his various releases he has hinted at a desire to explore sounds away from the dancefloor. Coupled with the songwriting talents and vocals of Robbie Redway, "Rust" delivers on the potential of that exploration.

In addition to the original mix, the "Rust" single includes a Midland remix, which peels back the vocals and adds some dancefloor thrust.

We've got the premiere of 'Symphorine' and it's one of the most dancefloor-friendly tracks on Stimming's new album but having said that, It's also one of the trippiest. 

The melodies start soft and delicate before voodoo screeches rear their head alongside thick, bellowing bass strikes.

If this is what locking yourself away in a hut produces then we're off to the Italian Alps now.

Coming up next in the Audiolith Singles Club-series is a conjunctional joint strictly aiming at the worlds dancefloors – featuring the combined forces of two artist hailing one from Berlin, the other from Hamburg and both renowned far beyond the borders of their hometown for DJ and production efforts alike.

The opener „Sonne, Park und Sterni“ is catered by long-time Audiolith-associate and family member Rampue who has been involved in musical craftmanship ever since. At the controls for Ira Atari's album, collaborational efforts with Egotronic and Plemo, several compilation features and remixes for artists like Conjure One, pandoras.box, Bratze, Supershirt, Kidstreet and others under his belt plus remarkable solo tracks on both volumes of our „Stiff Little Spinners“ series show that this man is driven by force. And so does „Sonne, Park und Sterni“ which is a sweet, melodic trip into the realms of positive TechHouse vibes, serving a seductive leitmotif and thrilling, cut-up vocal wizzardry adding a bit of extra spice to the playful loveliness that is surely influenced by Berlin's vibrant open air rave movement.
