Roermond’s own ZIGGY TWISS samples ‘Lady Saw’s - No Long Talking’: a dancehall staple decontextualized with an unique ziggy twist. ZIGGY is part of a wave of young producers from the Netherlands that are able to do it all - he’s an expert in producing rhythmic and danceable heaters. 

If you’ve been out and about this summer, there’s a good chance you’ve already heard some of his bubbling tracks being played by DJ’s like Nick Leon, Chuckie, C.FRIM and Jyoty. 

This remix make us reminisce over the UK Bass era around 2012: an absolute slapper that can’t be missing on your USB.

What are the world's greatest accidental inventions? Penicillin, X-ray and... bubbling! The catchy genre - developed in the '90s after DJ Moortje mistakenly played a dancehall record at a faster tempo - has turned into a club music with an energy hard to resist, honed by the likes of Chuckie or De Schuurman. Now, London's Club Yeke puts spotlight on two names from the new wave of bubbling champions, Styn and DJ Rtje, who used old-school drum kits to create 'Bobblesaus', a collection of frenetic tracks adhering to genre's principles with added flavours ranging from Surinamese kawina music to jungle and grime.

PASSENGER — a percussive, club-ready roller built to move dancefloors. Driven by stripped-back rhythms, warped vocal chops, and chest-rattling low-end pressure, PASSENGER blends global club influences in CHALÉ’s distinctive way. The track fuses the weight of UK Bass, the raw energy of Hard Drum, and elements inspired by African club sounds, offering a fresh, forward-thinking take on global dance music.

'Bobblesaus' is the latest project from Dutch producers @stijn-schrijber & @djrtje via @clubyeke - a 7-track project built for the club, packed with hypnotic, high-energy rhythms.

"We used old skool drumkits from the 2000s and built on that energy without over-processing," they explain. "Some tracks draw from Surinamese brass band and kawina music, while others take inspiration from jungle and grime.”
