Two titans in UK breakbeat culture, Loxy & Ink were both present at the inception of the birth of UK dance music and continue to be torchbearers. After having pushed and shaped the outer edges of drum ‘n bass at the likes of Metalheadz and Renegade Hardware, they went on to found their own Architecture and Cyclon labels; having reached the heights of their potential for free play and daring, authentic expression, it’s only natural that they’re furthering their mission at R&S Records. With ‘Manifested Visions’ the duo does exactly what the title suggests; transcending the boundaries of genre, roots dub meets hip hop and in-your-face drum and bass to create a track that will make you submit, revel, rave and float.

@scratch-massive celebrates the 10th anniversary of their cult 'Nuit de Rêve' album by enlisting new remixes from heavyweight talents including Âme, Thomas Schumacher, Manfredas, Bezier, Turbotito, MRD and more.

Scratch Massive is French duo Maud Geffray and Sebastien Chenut. For their landmark 2011 album, they were joined by vocal talents Jimmy Somerville, Daniel Agust, Koudlam and Chloe. A new wave and electro masterclass took the band to a whole new level after earlier albums ‘Enemy & Lovers’ and ‘Time’ laid solid foundations. Over the last decade, the pair have remained at the top of their game with four further LPs, including most recently ‘Live in Paris’ from earlier in 2021. They are proven masters of electro-tinged, slow-motion house who have also written original soundtracks. Their knack for crafting moody, cinematic sounds makes them perennial underground favourites. This new remix album adds plenty of fresh new perspectives to their still-classic original.

Modes continues the forward thinking percussive jazz and afro-inspired house music soundscapes explored on Dyne's recent album Teal, which garnered acclaim from peers and fans alike - including Late Night Tales, Toddla T, Ransom Note, and BBC6 Music presenters.

His trademark slick production can be relied upon once more, as well as the music's insistent rhythmic drive and intensity. Modes employs some of New Zealand's most well known and iconic vocalists, in addition to many new rising stars. Frequent collaborators Lord Echo, Ladi 6 and Mara TK (Electric Wire Hustle) return, alongside soul legends Dallas Tamaira aka Joe Dukie (Fat Freddys Drop), Che Fu and Troy Kingi.

Möd3rn is a global project from 3 wellknown artists who wanted to give a side project from their own solo career. It's a band, producing, playing live but it's also a label created only for the trio productions. Each releases will propose 3 tracks from the 3 artists. For that first one the famous trio propose 3 huges bombs Mö4, Mö5 and Mö6, 3 huge techno killer using rough skins with raw edit. Speech less and listen to that we can call Pure TEchno.
While carefully handling their respective careers, postponing then their obvious collaboration, Möd3rn trio's members have capitalized its desire and now deliver its mere substance, in the rightest moment, where, simply, all the distant forces converge.
The six daring, expert hands merge now into a unique entity, unanimously moving within the same effort towards techno music. Of the distinct identities merely remains the ethereal, synthetic essence devoted to the group, and the common musical passion that leads it. The formula is elaborated freely: each one's adjunctions -subtle keys, nervous chords, underground blows, rhythmical uproars- pour into a thick maelstrom, opaque, condensing Detroit's grieving sensibilities as well as last decade's bewildering cacophonies. The potion obtained is irresistible, an ecstatic hybrid, prodigiously actual, that renders all the genre's diversity and dynamism.
Chance intertwined their paths and now the three companions celebrate both the friendship that resulted and the good fortune that has driven it, by improvising live together as one faceless, solid body agitated by the urge of dance and music, composing the material that shall be processed later on to form their eponym label's releases.

[PREMIERE] SUCHI - Bamboo Shoot [PLOT RECORDS]

Infrastructure introduce a new artist to the roster, with a brand new talent known only as Post Scriptum. 'Post Scriptum 01' is the debut full length album from the anonymous producer, to be released on 2 x 12'', CD and digital formats.

Quickly following the first ever Post Scriptum track to be released, 'Human Timescales' featured on 'Berghain 07 - Part I' (Ostgut Ton 86), this stunning full length thoroughly outlines the sonic intentions of the project over 11 other-worldy tracks.

Post Scriptum stands for rich, highly detailed modern Techno Electronics. References to Mills-School bleep and unearthly, sci-fi tones are clear to hear. The album features original photographs by Swiss mixed-media artist Julian Charrière, taken on site at a former Soviet nuclear testing ground. The negatives were first exposed through the camera, and then laid on the radioactive earth where interference occurred, resulting in the highly textured end images.

Parallels to the process can be drawn throughout 'Post Scriptum 01', where classic Techno sound sources are clear to hear, however complex processing and a very original approach to arrangement flavours and colours each track. With titles like 'Interstellar Medium', 'Decelerate At The Destination' or 'The Extreme Distance', clear Space - Time themes emerge, evoking imagery of the ongoing Human quest for survival, on this world, and eventually others.

The vinyl version of Post Scriptum 01 is structured with DJs in mind, with club-leaning tracks spanning 4 sides. On the CD version a further 3 titles can be found, with the tracklist arranged as Post Scriptum originally intended for listening in one session.

Ikke Sant, a Norwegian phrase that loosely translates to “isn’t it?, not true?”. For SUCHI, it's an effervescent inspiration that informs her approach to dance music and provides the title to her beloved Rinse FM residency. That radio show dutifully showcased her myriad of influences while clarifying her remarkable hybrid style as a DJ. Now, she extends its operations to a label. A natural progression, offering an opportunity to host her own productions while delving further into label curation.
