Echonomist is back on Rotary Cocktail Records this time with vocal support of the amazing Black
Soda from South Africa. Petros delivers two original mixes which sound like classic inspired Detroit
tracks with deep basslines, melancholy synths, groovy chords and driving analogue drum machines to
provide the perfect soundbed for Black Soda’s distinctive hypnotic vocals.
Additionally youANDme and AND.ID deliver just the kind of emotional interpretations that touch our
souls in the right moments with their beautiful remixes.

This time, it's a real bass player, a heady groove and bittersweet melodies picking up a notch. Steadily growing his own imprint Rare Affair, he released his full LP on vinyl only just few weeks ago (available on Bandcamp and www.lucamusto.com), creating a buzz around this new record - which is completely self distributed and marketed.

Nuno dos Santos’ boutique label SoHaSo (shorthand for Something Happening Somewhere; although, sadly the same can no longer be said of Trouw) has been cruising steadily for the best part of two years now, but "Tonii" might just be the best thing committed to wax yet. Love Over Entropy's 12m original is sturdy with bright flourishes throughout, forever climbing and searching without resolve; techy without, y'know, being techy. 

This retouch comes from none other than Innervisions' main man, although  less overtly lovelorn than we've come to expect. He  twists the lead melody into something resembling a steel pan drum, backed by laser-guided synths pinging all around: a festival-sized breakdown held just at the precipice, never fully cresting. Dixon, you big tease.

Petar Dundov crafts music that transports listeners to other realms, fusing the functionality of techno with the mysticism of ambient. 

His latest full-length on the label ‘At The Turn Of Equilibrium’ came out last month featuring 10-minute spidery groove ‘The Lattice’ which is being released as a single later this month backed with a remix from Frank Wiedemann. 

The German producer, also known as one half of Âme and co-founder of Innervisions, holds a similar reputation for making soaring house and techno with a spooky edge. He chops up the winding original and repackages it into a tighter framework with spacey synth stabs and a more prominent kick.
