James 'Burnski' Burnham is one of the UK's most prolific and talented house producers. Having already contributed a run of beautifully created records to the Dessous and Poker Flat catalogue, it’s time for his next elegantly crafted EP - 'Sometimes Takes Longer'

Title track 'Sometimes Takes Longer' fuses casual, classic deep house drums with a totally hypnotic synth theme, surrounded by liquid percussion, fantastic panning and filtered spacial effects and story telling elements. The track builds in the great tradition of true late night, atmosphere setting deep house.

Looking to the B side, 'There's A Culprit' swaggers along nicely with a post-chicago jack and a ballsy hook to boot. Burnksi's characteristic clean production and fine detailing set this tracky jam on fire, with its unique layered approach.

Finally the key-led house vibes of 'Watch Out' phase on to the scene. Pumping and energetic, it’s also another great story track, leading us deep into the night with powerful syncopated rhythms, heavy reverb swells and inventive moments in the arrangement.

with a trippy circus track. One big newcomer from Stuttgart city is Emanuel Satie with his old school addicted track "Hans". Julien Bracht & Martyné are two of the new talents from frankfurt-freebase connection, watch out for them !!! Arado & Marco Faraone the german-italian team kicking with "Get Reverse" a real groove bass monster. And something special from Düsseldorf/Germany the new talent Lahib Alekozei gives his best with a romantic and mind catching song "Behind closed Doors"...

Ben Rau serves up the third release on his own label Inkal in October featuring two new original tracks by the rising star.
Berlin born Ben Rau is building on the huge success of the first two Inkal releases with two original tracks of his glitched out groove laden signature house sound. Rau has been steadily building his own brand throughout 2017 on his label Inkal, with each release on multiple represses the label is fast becoming synonymous with the type of house music that works equally for the underground vinyl heads and on the big festival stages.
The A-side Ad Astra is a rolling peak time number that marries a ravey lead stab with his trademark swinging hats and glitched out filter modulations over a thumping groove. 
The drop recalls 90’s drum and bass influences and soothing pads take the track into deeper territory. The drums are loose and jostle for attention as the ducking and diving lead synth bring real movement up top. One for the more tasteful sets out there.
Up next is Do Your Thing built around a rolling percussive tech-house groove and rumbling sub bass line, Ben brings in 303 licks and a female vox that urges you to “do your thing “ throughout the track. This roller makes a fine contrast to the swinging grooves of the A-side, dense atmosphere and deep chords compliment the other elements to form an infectious head nodding journey throughout the tracks 8 minute duration.
Once again Rau shows what an essential house producer he has become.
