"When the sun sets (or some will argue, never, because megacities are often continuously bathed in neon and leds), the raccoons will leave their shelter and set off on a great adventure throughout the levels of their respective hive cities. Night time is prime time for our little 'Procyon Alveare' wanderers. Hive raccoons will use this opportunity offered by the the cover of darkness to forage and scavenge whatever food scraps that were carelessly thrown out during the day. 

Gazes of three to four raccoons will often traverse the maintenance shafts, air ducts, and tunnels to access upper levels in the megacity, despite strict monitoring, prevention methods, and eradication patrols. How they end up in the hive parks and hive gardens is a mystery to the upper level dwellers, but scientists have hypothesized that the common raccoon is evolving. The newly minted 'hive raccoon', with their uncanny ability to use rudimentary tools, such as malleable metals scavenged in junk heaps from the lower levels, to operate on sealed and locked locations throughout the hive city continues to baffle animal behavioral researchers.

Tonight, we bring you an in-depth and intimate look at a family of hive raccoons. Scientists have been able to bring this extraordinary event to you vicariously for the first time in VR. We will be following 'Reasly', a genetically engineered HumanMaschine male hive raccoon, on his amazing journey through the dank and grimy innards of a hive city. Who will Reasly meet? What trials and tribulations will Reasly face throughout this momentous night? What marvelous treasures will he find? 

Please don your headsets, and join us on 'Wanderers of the Megacity: Late Night Delights' shortly after these mandatory messages from the North American Federated States. A reminder  to all families that at approximately 30 minutes after the end of this program, there will be a live studio broadcast involving the corporal punishment of the dissidents who firebombed the server towers in NYC-Arco. This segment will begin at 2130 hours and we suggest removing the children from the viewing area and from their headsets. All adults ages 18 and above must be present with headsets or mobile augmentations at 2100 hours as this is a mandatory broadcast.

Swirl People revisit their roots with a nostalgic four track EP from their early days as Fortune Cookie. This collection - which is their third release on L.I.T.S. - features carefully selected tracks from their original 1996 releases on Marguerite, a small label run by a friend. Nearly three decades later, these still much sought-after tracks are finally being reissued. The EP opens with 'Glitter Girls,' which is characterised by a catchy bassline, followed by the deep groove of 'Um Bongo.' On the B-side, 'Galactic Snackbar' offers a retro-futuristic feel, while 'Frisko Heaven' wraps up the EP with classic disco-filtered house energy. Timeless tackle, for sure.

Ross From Friends returns to the Lobster pot with a hard skatin, snake evadin', cherry chompin' EP of luscious house bangers alongside raw stomping, broken beatdown escapades.

After making some serious waves over the past 12 months with the cult hit Talk To Me You'll Understand and following with an epic three-person live set, this third EP and sophomore release for the Lobster family expands on the RFF sound whilst stretching the sound pallet back to encompass the rawer end of the spectrum as seen on his debut for Breaker Breaker.

Summer blasts through the windows, doors and ceiling like a nuclear flush of sunshine, rush of heather and cool, sprinkled breeze for days. Woozing synths and phasers wash over a indelible vocal loop. As swishing in and around vintage drum battering and MPC heavy arrangement chops.

xoxoxo is a headsy, beats-led excursion into the more broken end of the house/techno/bass spectrum. Taking a strong influence from early Mount Kimbie and grinding it through classic machines and loaded with that RFF grit.

Exploring further Ross From Friends habits for tangental arrangements, Crystal Catcher (Weed) is an ecstatic, excitable jaunt that segues from one zonal fragmented crystalline mood into another. A lost wanderer into the deep green haze.

A small teaser that landed last year and an apt emotional closer. Donny Blew It is US teen heartbreak drama distilled into 7 minutes of luminous, rolling and striding house music. Warmth flooding from every speaker.

His world was a pleasant daydream as he patrolled the seafront. Looking out from upon the pier he began to wonder whether anyone else lived their life in such similar states of reverie, away with the clouds if you will. The dance was on as the waves rolled gracefully in the distance as the boats came and went. He was at ease with the world and at one with the gracious narrative of life. Can it be that it was all so simple? For now he cared little as to the answer. 

Wilhelm embodies the definition of an up and comer. His sound weighty and forward thinking, his music supported by the likes of Tasker, Bruce, Randomer and many others.
