Cheeky Sneakers celebrates its grand opening in style as Denham Audio bring in a few friends for a masterclass in breakbeat-rooted club music. Opening track Single Minded, featuring the prolific Coco Bryce is a playful take on classic house tropes with a dark, ravey twist while the raw, stripped-out roller So Good, produced with fellow Club Glow affiliate Mani Festo nods back to the original jungle sound.On the flip, another CLub Glow affiliate enters the fray as LMajor assists on the cascading warehouse firecracker Down On Me while rising Japanese producer Kazuho joins to helpclose proceedings on the hyperactive Love Addiction.‘Denham Audio & Friends’ drops Friday 23rd April, via Cheeky Sneakers.

“During the time of production, I was in a good positive headspace which helped the ideas come to life, gathered mainly from great club experiences," says the  South East London-based producer. "The main trigger was listening to high-energy/ fast-tempo dance music.”

Honestly, the sound design and production levels are just beyond belief in my opinion. Needless to say, they have been on heavy rotation since I first received the demos and they aren’t anywhere close to getting old yet.

They somehow straddle the line between beautiful soundscapes and absolute face melting, eyes rolling back, grabbing the person next to yours’s shoulders heat. Does that even make sense? Well I think you get what I mean."

The Human Movement project has undergone significant sonic development in the past 12 months.  From a well established house project within his underground community of Sydney Australia, Edward Macdonald’s most recent singles have elevated him to more than just connoisseur of taste, but to a producer reaching grandiose heights, one established in a delicate care for the creation of sonic universes. This ethos and new chapter of music has  now combined to create Human Movement’s first solo body of work, KINETIC.

With the release of the body of work  comes the first listen of new Human Movement original, Reframed. Reframed’s grandiose vocal chops, raging string lines and two step drum pattern make for a dark and grungy take on the traditionally glitzy garage genre. While vast in its territories, sonics and inspiration there is something brilliant about its continuity. Each build up is a narrative, each drumline a distant rhythm and each vocal chop a distinct feeling.
