The 6-track ambient outing highlights the melodic and melancholic aspects of No Moon's previous works, but this time is distilled into a peaceful and coherent audio experience as opposed to the artist's more widely recognised club-focused sensibilities. 'Opening 2022 by adding new talent to their roster, Cid Inc's Replug Records welcomes Anaqram to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Russia, the Anaqram duo has achieved measurable success since first emerging in 2020 with a trio of releases via Ruben de Ronde's Statement! imprint. It proved to be an auspicious debut for Moscow residents Anton and Maxim, who had conceptualized the project just a year prior. The duo cast traditional genre blueprints aside and were quickly recognized for a sound that carried the melody and emotion of progressive house, along with the groove-centric rhythms of tech-house and techno. Two years on and Anaqram now finds themselves with an impressive resume, highlighted by releases for Anjunabeats, Freegrant Music, Mango Alley, Songspire and UV, while electronic music icon's Above and Beyond, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta and Miss Monique continue to champion their sound. Continuing that upward trajectory as 2022 begins, Anaquam presents their much-anticipated Replug debut entitled 'Conjunction'.

Getting the release underway and sitting as one of Anaqram's most heady productions to date is the title selection 'Conjunction'. Warm beats and a full, rolling groove set the foundation for a narrative of whimsical arps, uniquely tailored percussion and shimmering overlays. Pushing a poignant mood into the break; the duo marries ghostly vocals, warm bass swells and placid pads across the expansive interlude, building emotion with each successive pass as melodies open up, before eventually giving way to a thumping drop and key changing finale.

Rounding out the release are the pulsating grooves and intoxicating atmospheres of 'No Matter'. Mysterious and uplifting throughout, it's a collage of wavy rhythms and fuzzy stabs which captivate leading into the break. Charming vocal phrases and delicate arps further the story as the centrepiece unfolds, bringing with them hopeful moods and transcendent vibes, before a breezy drop puts your senses on high for an emotive conclusion. 

Operating at the peak of their creative powers, Anaqram continues to impress with their Replug debut 'Conjunction'. A two-track showcase which sets the course for what promises to be another stellar year for the Russian duo.'

'Next up for the rising Desert Hearts Black label, is a big single from Darin Epsilon and Galestian. 

Following up his great release with Marc DePulse, Darin makes his return with a charged progressive groove titled “Reset.” This tune is layered with arpeggiated emotion, and just keeps climbing throughout the entire ride. Darin is such a dynamic producer, constantly showing his range, and Reset is another example of his ever expanding work.

This release also carries two exciting remixes, taking Darin and Galestian’s creation even deeper. The first comes from Fur Coat, making his debut on the label, and delivers that signature dark energy. Galestian has previously collaborated with Paul Oakenfold and released alongside Olivier Giacomotto, with music out on labels such as Berlin’s Ritter Butzke Records and Toolroom. Another big artist joins the DHB catalog with a remix, and this one brings the heat.

The second remix, rounding out the release, comes from label heads and founders Marbs & Evan Casey. Moody, melodic, and a journey driven remix taking us through the realms with some beautiful moments and shifts. Another great collab from these two here, and a big release all around for the DH imprint. Release date for this one is November 12, so stay tuned!'

Responsible for the next outing on the label is Joe Reddick rather known under his artist alias Remotif. The Bristolian, who’s scored releases with labels like Coymix Ltd, Pleasant Life, Air Miles or his very own Familiar Strangers delivers three undeniably diverse tracks that breathe Breaks, deep chords and achieving a trances-state-of-mind with its implemented percussions. The B1, Don’t Do It, comes in including everything from the beforementioned like a swarm of shaking synths over spheric pads and a rock solid humming bass line that sets the pace of this almost deep-housey track that’s sure to lace any floor with style and grace.

For the past ten years or so, North London's Gerry Read has been quietly building a résumé perfectly suitable for a lo-fi house lover's playlist. Aus Music, DFA, and Rebirth are just a few of the homes where his tunes have landed but most notably, it was his appearance on Pampa in 2019 that put his name on everyone's lips. 

Today though, we are here to talk about his first E.P. of 2022 due out this Friday via Circus Company. Lean On Something is the title of said release and "Risotto" is the fantastic tune we are premiering today off that very release. It's funky, it's wonky, and just plain weird. Most importantly though, it grooves like no other with stop-and-go rhythms that'll have you questioning its very structure. Consider it the wicked step-child of Josh Wink's "Don't Laugh."

The musical conceptual journey of the Bliss EP by the young artist Dante starts with the question "Where should I go"? One or the other will have asked themselves this question more than once and was not always able to answer it immediately. It is sometimes a long way to your own happiness, which does not always lead straight and is peppered with many questions. “Sub Rosa” is Dominio’s first compilation album since the beginning of its publishing activity as an independent label at the beginning of this year. It features contributions from a list of both old and new friends of the collective which have performed at some of the different concerts that they have organised over the last two years. “Sub Rosa” is a reflection of Dominio’s strong commitment with their local scene as much as their search for a wider projection through international connections. Ultimately, their goal is to stimulate a dialogue between their particular context and the rest of the world. The presence in this album of a high number of collaborative pieces is, too, a crystallisation of this dialogue. Most of these collaborations were created by correspondence during the 2020 March-August period, and shall provide a sample of the constant appearance, evolution and reshaping of projects around the collective.

The figures displayed in the album cover are the work of the Valencia-based sculptor Claudia Dyboski (IG: @dyboski).
