Egypt’s Raxon makes his Truesoul debut with a searing four-tracker.

The talented DJ/producer has been a marked man on Adam Beyer’s musical radar ever since his stunning remix of Noir & Olivier Giacamotto’s ‘Reste’ landed during the summer of 2016. His productions have elsewhere found a home on Diynamic, Noir, Tronic and more recently Ellum, reinforcing his ability to craft powerful techno that still retains an emotive edge. 

His maiden outing for Truesoul is masterful. ‘Fobidden Quest’ is seven minute of low-end muscular bass that’s heavy on peak-time rush. ‘Orix’ is continues in this vein and is a groove-ridden bass-heavy gem. ‘Flight Call’ demonstrates his musical breadth, providing an interlude from the dancefloor with an immersive ambient work. The EP is rounded out with ‘Heliopolis’, the EP’s title track named after Raxon’s hometown. It’s a stirring composition driven by uplifting pads, tension-building bassline melodies and a laser-kissed build up. 

Support for this EP already comes in strong, including Maceo Plex, Solomun, Nicole Moudaber, Carl Cox, B.Traits, Tale of Us, John Digweed, Adriatique and of course Adam Beyer.

Es ist der zweite Longplayer, den @marc-depulse rausbringt. Sein erstes Album kam 2011 und 2012 verteilt auf drei EPs bei Ostwind Records raus. Nun folgt „Kontrollverlust“ am 20. November 2017 auf @einmusika-recordings. Der Leipziger DJ und Produzent hat innerhalb von zehn Monaten 20 Tracks kreiert, die sich im weiten Tech- und Techno-Feld austoben und von denen es final zehn aufs Album schafften – emotional, mysteriös, sphärisch und dunkel. Für den Titeltrack „Kontrollverlust“ steuerte @xenia-beliayeva die Vocals bei. „Einmusika war die erste und einzige Wahl. Ich hatte keine andere Idee bzw. ​Berlin-based favorite Ellen Allien recently released her seventh studio album ‘Nost’. Not one to remain idle, Ellen has also unleashed an accompanying set of fiery remixes in a package soon to be out on BPitch. The second A-side from the EP sees Running Back label boss Gerd Janson take on Ellen’s ‘Call Me’ track for a thundering and heart-pounding take. It's an absolute siren of a remix.

Tronic needs no introduction for those who have followed dance music for the last 20 or so years. Since its inception back in 1994, Christian Smith has founded a label that constantly delivers top techno tracks year after year. Not only does he run the label, but also has his long-standing Tronic radio show, which is syndicated in more than over 100 countries worldwide.
Known and loved for its albums, Tronic released the very first of its kind with a collaboration only project in 2017 with 'Synergy' and this June we can reveal who is on the official remix pack. 
New names to the label appear on this release, including Petter B and Oliver Deutschmann with their heavy hitting tracks in the pack. Fast-paced, synthetic soundscapes and intricate percussive elements for some late-night rave style rework.
Shall Ocin comes in with a rolling synthetic hook, dark ominous bellowing horns, and a punchy clap, whilst Agaric's complex remix has an array of pad and synth work for a futuristic edge to the original.
Acid and breakbeat are coming back, and that can be heard in both the Jam El Mar and Zeta Reticula remixes. Jam El Mar, the only artist to have released on Tronic before drops a snapping acid line, thick kick and has a massive pad engulfing the mix, this is a big room techno anthem with a hint of trance. Zeta Reticula's breakbeat electro inspired attitude reigns in the mix, with a vocoder vocal coupled with some synths.
Tronic growing the label's roster with some fantastic new artists on this release, with a track for everyone!

'London based artist DYSART kicks off 2020 with a class new EP ‘No Acid’ on Kneaded Pains. After his third EP on Intec in 2019 and multiple Radio 1 support, it looks like 2020 could be the year for DYSART.

Keeping to his stripped back style, ‘No Acid’ is a lesson in less is more. Pounding 909 kicks pulverise as metallic percussions syncopate the rhythm. Dystopian vocals, clever drum work and eerie synths complete the sonic landscape resembling the kind of desolate terrain perfect for techno. 

On remix duties, rising star Frazi.er ups the tempo punctuating the tension with submarine radar bleeps and a skippy woodblock groove. Relentless and hypnotic. Finally, ‘Dark Metal’ sees overdriven kicks, warped clicks and percussions, and bleeps create the kind of dark energy that only peak time techno can make. Strong tribal drum work again sets this apart from the herd. '
