I was listening to some other dj mixes yesterday and just thinking about how fucking DOPE this one was(!) so I figured I'd post it up for download so everybody who hasn't heard it can check it out ......and also just to get you guys pumped about our new mix CD / DVD project we're doing for Win Win..... which is gonna be really dope too. so keep an eye out for that. should be ready in less than a month =)

Couche Tard is the name of a convenience store in the french part of canada. It translates roughly to "we go to bed late" or "we stay up late"

a groovy track produced by berlin's own 'true beatz crew' featuring your's truly.  i made a deal with my friend steve rolle (true beatz member) where i would record some vocals for the crew if he would give me a ride to the airport at 6am the next morning; this is the result of that agreement.  it's a song about the artistic love affair some of us fall into with music, namely funk, and like many objects of affection, the funk can be elusive and cruel but once you've been with her, it's hard to imagine being with anyone else.  i hope you enjoy it!
