Mixpak Records is happy to announce two fresh remixes of "First Time," Dre Skull's blockbuster collaboration with dancehall heavyweight Popcaan and Megan James of Purity Ring.

Curses kicks things off and delivers the kind of goods the world has come to expect from the housed-up alter ego of Brooklyn bass legend Drop The Lime - a jacking anthem that blends classic house melodicism with ruffneck UK pressure. Megan James's ethereal vocals float over the tear-jerking piano vamps to create a feeling equal parts melancholic and euphoric.

Following up, Sinjin Hawke's remix imaginatively morphs between the chop-happy soulful beat-work reminiscent of prime era Just Blaze and heavy bass pressure. Tinkling keyboards bookend the track, easing the listener in and out of the eye of the storm.

These two remixes further compliment another strong Mixpak single, building vibes on vibes.
